Very impressive, with the door panel restoration, steering wheel leather, upholstery restoration and body fillers that would really be perfect. You gave someone a great car with just some minor restoration to take it over the top! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Anthony. Spectacular car... One of my very favorites. Sadly I had a 1984 Eldorado..White with Red interior... Was sold to me in 2007 for an incredible price... It belonged to a friends mother who passed away. It was definitely a survivor..California car..Always garage kept. 17,000 original miles..Literally looked like it just came out of the showroom..It was my dream car which I would have kept for many years....I never, every let anyone else behind the wheel of this car...Well...one evening I met a friend at a restaurant for Dinner...The place had valet parking only...I was not happy about it..but paid the valet $20.00 to keep it safe and park it out front...Then Disaster struck. One of the valet drivers...A real Jerk, high school kid decided to take the car for a joy ride...Traveling at a high rate of speed, went out of control and crashed into a stone wall and a telephone pole. He is unfortunately now in a wheel chair ..And I certainly don't feel at all sorry for this punk. Karma. Anyway. I totally miss my car!
So nice to see you clean up the outside. I am glad you sold the car so you can focus on selling some of your other inventory, such as the 1992 Brougham (10K miles) that I am still waiting for.
Nice work. amazing what some power washing, soap, and some tlc can do. I know there would be a lot more waxing, buffing and detailing if you were going to sell. Nice quick easy turn around fun sell. You should ask that person to send you a video when he completes his restoration,

Great job cleaning the cool ride up! Nice to see it leaving the salt zone of New England....into another one of Houston, TX (yes, salty sea air eats cars!). Now that you have it cleaned up really well I would keep that Autumn maple fire-mist the hell out of the sun. UV exposure is really what just kills the hoods and trunks on those -had that happen to me on a 90 Deville I owned in that color. You have an unusually clean and easily restorable one worth a storage spot indoors. Crowded as you indoors may be:-)

When I was a dishwasher at the Italian restaurant I used to work at in the 80s...The owner had an 1979 Cadillac Seville . Burgundy and Gold , red Cathrean leather like driving a sofa down the road.. letting me wash it and taking it for a spin .... a wonderful memory of my teens... the looks I'd get priceless...

I bought an 84 Eldorado Biarritz convertible in August. It’s white with the same white top. It has 80000 miles, and the top needs cleaning in the same way. I needed this tip! Thank you.

17:45 Hodgdon-Noyes dealer plate! They were a GM dealer in Arlington, MA that closed in 2008. My first car, a 1989 Buick Century, came from that dealer.

U did a great job with the car. I love this show. I live in Chicago so u don't see a lot of old Cadillac that are so clear. I have a 94 Deville that I love but it does have a lot of miles and rust on it but I am hoping to fix it up. Plus I have a 79 Cadillac Deville to but it got a lot of rust but it always runs for me with 220000 miles on it.

That is impressive. Would that outdoor bleach work on colors? The red is absolutely gorgeous. I agree with what you said. That car must have been absolutely sharp when it was new. You definitely brought it right to where it needed to be to entice the lucky Texan who now owns a beautiful Cadillac Eldorado that needs just a little bit more to make it fantastic again. You did it right.
I’ve used the bleach on tan cloth and vinly before. Use it and rinse it, don’t let it sit for hours. I had no issues
Do you come across any Buick Reattas with low mileage? Also I'm searching for a Pontiac 6000LE or higher trim model with at least low to fair mileage in good condition. Preferably the 3.1MFI V6 but will consider the 2.5 Tech4 V4 if in remarkable condition.
Wow the Pontiacs are unicorns today. You just don’t see them anywhere. The Buicks never appealed to me, so I don’t chase them much

I know some of those aftermarket gaudy are attractive to some people but I’m not one of those. I would defiantly pull those wire wheels and put the stock ones back on. This car will appeal to some who appreciate the mods. The HT 4100 engines were very troublesome but at 130,000 miles it has likely already been overhauled and updated.

It turned out to be pretty
Nice job! How were the electronics on the dash? They were known for problems back in the day the 84 & 85s. All it needs is air intake hose and new fillers on quarters. The steering wheel should clean up with water at first on wet paper towels, a few passes & 90% of the grime would be gone (just dirt from hands over time.) The wheel doesn't look baked by sun, as the rest of the car. Weird that side rear fillers failed.
No dash issues. The digital instrument cluster worked fine. I have had to fix a few in the past. I tired a few passes at the wheel but 130k wore into it pretty deep
Best color combo was what too short had i had the white with red that .rundmc krush grove color combo
