Thank you guys for this episode, very insightful. I am an ER nurse and since COVID have been questioning everything in the medical field and have been researching things and agree with what you guys have to say.

Any chance you have a link to the quote from the Shonda lady you mentioned?

Can you share your medical binder with us?!
Maybe a list of books that are your constant go-tos?

I haven't finished this episode. I am taking a break to put my little to bed so sorry if you covered this. I have been thinking about this since we had our first. Modern medicine is always trying to improve our bodies as if the natural function is faulty, instead of trying to work with the body to make it run the way it was intended. I saw this especially with labor and the vitamin k shot. The whole premise is that there has been a mistake in the design, not that something isn't working as it is designed to. I have read some Christian scientists speculate that stems cells might actually do what vit k does before the baby has the natural increase in vit k and giving a synthetic version of it may actually block the stem cells from doing what they're supposed to be doing.

@41:03 i drink kombucha daily to prevent my eczema from flairing up. I blend it in a fruit and veggie smoothie. Probably like 8 ounces daily.

That is such a good tip, thank you! I have had lifelong eczema that makes me BLEED, but I'm tired of steroids because your skin becomes addicted once you start. I'll give this a shot.

I would love a list of books you have "vetted" and trust for your home apothecary wisdom. I heard you mention Nourishing Traditions (which I was super happy to hear you mention). Any others?
