the "or a furry, and dress like dogs" line in the first episode pisses me off so much. 1) furries and being lgbt are not related even slightly. being a Furry, being any kind of queer is just who you are (i am both a furry and lgbt member so like) Im so sick of people joining the 2 communities together like they're the same thing, cuz they're not. Plus "Dress like dogs" is the most boring bland-ass statement ever. They aint NEVER competing with mfing SOUTHPARK, they're not even close.
They get lumped together in one pile called, " sexual deviants". That's why. Some folk will reject anything that deviates from their personal experiences and it all ends up in the same heap. Add to that the fact that furries, overall, have painted a picture of themselves as gay child molesters. I'm not saying that's true, but most of the time when a furry is in the news it's attached to some disgusting behavior. An outside view could easily skew towards thinking furries are just queers hiding their identity and trying to appeal to children. I don't give a shit myself. Do what you want, and I'll do what I want. I'm pushing 50 years old, I know more middle aged and elderly people than I know young folk. From where I'm sitting, that's the perception many see the issue from. Have fun being queer and wearing a fur suit. Life is too short to let the opinions of strangers stop you from being yourself. I'd love to recapture my youth and be my genuine self when I was young and hot, ha ha.

LONG TANGENT-Y COMMENT INCOMING 😭 love how this show is such a clear parody of All in the Family-it even goes so far as to rip-off the house's design-yet they totally ignore what made All in the Family beloved and iconic. Even after tense exchanges, and quick (WELL WRITTEN) comedic jabs at the other person, EVERY character was challenged with the intention of reaching new, improved understandings for everyone rather than dog piling and making fun of groups simply because you’re uncomfortable. They even had a better response to the “new leftist generation is making everyone black for brownie points” topic when Mike, the resident "woke" meathead character, was confronted by his black friend Lionel about how he views him and other people of color as projects rather than individuals (a valid critique marginalized groups have of white liberalism and capitalism to this day) despite the fact that Mike in arrogance believed the person Lionel would be most uncomfortable with was Archie. Though shows like All in the Family, Good Times and others are far from perfect and dated in some ways, what this low-budget, spiteful, anti-woke conservative content consistently tries to do that the others don’t is dehumanize the individuals who make up the groups they criticize. They do this because fighting with an exaggerated version of who you assume is your worst enemy is much easier than facing the truth of one's own biases and realizing that those ideas could mean the difference between life and death for an individual who truly means you no harm.
I'm not funny enough to think of a funny comment, so here's how to like a comment twice on mobile: 1. Put one finger over like and another over the reply button right next to it 2. Put both fingers down, but put the one over like down just a bit earlier so you go to reply before the animation with the confetti ends 3. After clicking reply, you will be prompted to type a reply when it loads a second page. Close out of the typing field. 4. You will notice that the comment will have one more like than before, but it won't say that you liked it. 5. Click like and go back to comments 6. Congratulations! You have liked the comment twice. A few things to keep in mind: 1. This only works on mobile, maybe only on iOS because that's the only thing I tested it on 2. I tried this a few times, and sometimes it managed to remove a like, or in very rare cases, even add two. 3. Use this power wisely, only for the force of good. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility!

The idea of an ignorant older man who doesn't understand the new generation being faced with a variety of new situations and being forced to adapt to them is kinda good for a show. It worked for king of the hill. Hank is ignorant but not a bad person, he learns and grows and that's why we love him. @@brimstoner982 the pervasiveness of ‘woke’ that people are crying about isn’t nearly as extensive as some want to think. Why is saying “hey, this bad show is bad”, ‘woke’? As an extension, why is “I think people should be nice to each other regardless of their identity, even if you don’t understand it”, ‘woke’? This is not a rhetorical line of questioning. I welcome your perspective. Most people just want to live their lives in peace with their family and neighbors and if someone believes in their heart they identify as one way, how does that hurt anyone else? Most people that are yelled at for being ‘woke’ aren’t trying to push an ideology on people, and they don’t like when anyone does it, whether that ideology be religious or cultural. For example, I think religion should be a part of education as much as (for my lack of a better term) “identity politics” should be. In that it should be in specific, objective classes or not at all. Now I’m not saying that no one pushes a ‘woke’ agenda, there definitely is, I just want to help put into the zeitgeist that most people on the left do not fit this woke archetype like the media likes to tell you do. In fact, most think it’s just annoying as anyone and as a bonus, see corporate rainbow virtue signaling as hypocritical pandering.
One thing I find weird about these new conservative shows ( mr birchum and the new norm) is that they have a liberal character that’s in the main cast and appears every episode with their wokeism because with media aimed at gay people they have like a homophobic carácter that’s a villain but it’s not constant it’s as if heart stopper or the owl house had a trump supporter saying transphobic things every episode like wouldn’t it get annoying

This show is not Anti-woke...This show is Anti-GOOD😡😡😡😡
the "or a furry, and dress like dogs" line in the first episode pisses me off so much.
I'm both too ❤️🫂
@@TheCryingOne oh that's really cool! :D What's your sexuality?? (if you're comfortable with sharing, no pressure)
But could norm solo Peter griffin though?
No
nah, peter could solo the old man

Wait until they find out South Park is actually woke. You know, in the actual definition of woke. They make fun of both sides. this feels like it is,but you know they don't think they are
The person who voices Norm is John Ratzenburger who voiced the pig: Hamm in Toy Story and is the only person to voice someone in every Pixar movie. How did he agree to this?
why is he designed to look like Archie Bunker?
in fact it looks like the set of all in the family. which is funny because conservatives love to say that this generation of "kids'" would be offended by that show. while missing the point that all in the family was about Archie learning to become more tolerant and a better person.
So long as anti-woke culture warriors rage on, "King of the Hill" will be the only good conservative show.
Also, I appreciate how you don't focus on the show's politics. Although they are "distasteful", they're not what make the show bad... at least not ENTIRELY.

I'm not funny enough to think of a funny comment, so here's how to like a comment twice on mobile:
1. Put one finger over like and another over the reply button right next to it
2. Put both fingers down, but put the one over like down just a bit earlier so you go to reply before the animation with the confetti ends
3. After clicking reply, you will be prompted to type a reply when it loads a second page. Close out of the typing field.
4. You will notice that the comment will have one more like than before, but it won't say that you liked it.
5. Click like and go back to comments
6. Congratulations! You have liked the comment twice.
A few things to keep in mind:
1. This only works on mobile, maybe only on iOS because that's the only thing I tested it on
2. I tried this a few times, and sometimes it managed to remove a like, or in very rare cases, even add two.
3. Use this power wisely, only for the force of good. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility!
comparing themselves to south park is an insult to matt and trey.
This show is offensive, it's offensive in how unfunny it is. If this is what legalized comedy is and make it illegal again. It's a war crime against comedy in of itself and deserves a life sentence.
This level of cancerous radioactive courage can cause somebody to develop a tumor. It should come with a warning label on it before people even view it.
This is a decleration of war against the very concept of humor. A chemical weapon against comedy.
I agree this is the reason why I prefer the middle because if I were woke I'm stupid and if I were woke I have no compassion

The idea of an ignorant older man who doesn't understand the new generation being faced with a variety of new situations and being forced to adapt to them is kinda good for a show. It worked for king of the hill. Hank is ignorant but not a bad person, he learns and grows and that's why we love him. I feel like if these characters could develop at all it would be nice to see them reach middle ground. It could be really sweet to see despite Norms fear and anger his fatherly feelings leading him to accept and protect. I know this show is a gag and a jab but considering this kinda makes me want to write something like that.
can we, as a society, all agree to stop pretending twitter is called ‘X’ 🙁👎
Who would've known that a show designed to be hated by half the country wouldn't be that well received.
Here’s the thing, this kid is not even going after the message of the show. He isn’t hiding he doesn’t agree with it but his talking points are that it is just a bad pilot and giving his opinion on what would make it better. Conservative comedy isn’t unfunny because it’s conservative. It’s unfunny because it’s not funny.
it’s a bad show independent of beliefs
@@Someone-sq8im I think so too, but I'm just saying, these guys complain about 'woke' shit all the time. If they can't tolerate a piece of media because it disagrees with them then they shouldn't be surprised when others can't either.

"Maybe I should not be advising people on how to be more effectively transphobic."
