    Completely agree, whenever i get to watch those “secrets”, they’re more often than not stuff you learn along the way from practicing.

    Great video on the philosophy of photography. Some of the other overused, essentially meaningless terms are tack sharp, you make you don't take photos, tactile, and immersive -- the last three applied mostly to film photography and retro digital cameras like the Zf/Zfc. I also reject the idea that film cameras slow you down. I go back to the "real" film era, when I developed black-and-white film and printed in a darkroom with an enlarger. These days, using only digital cameras -- namely Nikon's D500 and Z50 -- I shoot slower than ever. Nearly all of today's film shooters are actually doing a hybrid analog/digital process, since they scan their negatives and edit digitally, but no one talks about that. I loved shooting film but will never go back. Thanks for your insights.
