I'm not gonna lie, this might be the slowest pass through on this road I've come across, but y'all's commentary made it a really fun video! Glad you enjoyed the road! I will say, most people way overthink the road. It's really just a road. Yeah, it has a lot of turns, but there is no reason to cut into the yellow or into the opposing lane. Keep it between the mustard and mayo and you'll be just fine.
I think out of all the videos I’ve watched I love this one the most I didn’t even know what Tail of the Dragon 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉 was until I watch this but you were absolutely fantastic and it looked like you picked the side where you were heading mostly uphill I wonder if it would be different if you did the other side where it was downhill and I also noticed the trees were not covered with leaves yet and I wonder if that would make it feel more closed in when they were & make the streets darker and I can’t even imagine what it would be like to drive that at night wow wow wow and I love driving a stick shift I used to have a 1976 Datsun B2 10 five speed and I took it all over Washington and Oregon and IdahoAnd Utah and it was great that was my favorite car but anyway like you said can you imagine a motorhome driving down that or a bus or anything big like that and that was so fun to come along with you guys thanks so much you guys make the cutest couple love to you both from here in Orem Utah 💛🌈💛🌈💛🌈💛The pictures at the end were fantastic how exciting that was so cool to see💚🐉💚🐉💚🐉💚🐉
Thanks. Yeah, the Z24 was built for roads like this. Still nothing like actual sports cars though. But way better than a cheap/regular Cavalier. Handled wonderfully. And yes, I LOVE Route 30 on both sides of Breezewood. Very scenic and a workout for the car.
That road is something else, awesome and I forward it to my son so he can watch it he lives in Tennessee-Thank you for sharing it, and be safe as always… I hope you have a blessed Easter
I was diagnosed with vertigo years ago but only suffered from the symptoms a couple of times in my life since. But this road was just fine. A lot of fun.
@@WallieB26 My 83 year old father is down in a rehab center for three weeks and he got vertigo really bad which he had never had before ❤️🙏❤️❤️but was just diagnosed with and lost where he was and fell backwards off the bed and hit his head on a fire extinguisher and it broke his neck in two places so now he is laying down there with a big stiff brace on his neck and he keeps telling the doctors to take it off saying he’s not a horse he hast to keep his sense of humor but I heard vertigo can be pretty scary to have I hope you’re feeling better Wallie🙏
Wow! Just by watching this video, it looks like viewers are part of the action, and it looms like you're about to go off the cliff, but you don't. Your Z24 is getting a good workout!
If you're not paying attention on this road, it wouldn't take much to go off road, down a ditch, or off the mountains. It definitely did get a good work out! I had to replace my swar bar end links as a result. The one snapped so I just replaced both. Very cheap and very easy part to replace for better handling.
WallieB26 and Kayla, really loved and enjoyed your video! Thank you for taking me along with you! Beautiful scenery and loved all the curves! Awesome and cool pictures of your car!
Lots of bikes down there, very awesome you weren't like most hauling ass crossing into other lanes. I will one day get my bike down there and thank you for watching out for us. Can tell you had a blast 👍. That wasn't a go kart it was a Ariel atom but practically a adult street legal go kart but super fast.
Beautiful country down there. Glad you got to experience that. The Z handled it expertly. The pics came out great. That plate cover on the front bumper looks great. 😉
That thing made the Z complete. Thanks very very much for that! It took me a while to get the red pinstriping done to the letters with an x-acto knife but it came out great.
Those corners, wow those corners, definitely want to do this in the near future. That go-cart type vehicle wow and I saw an older mustang I believe as well. Definitely heard those tires and this was awesome
We probably saw 30-40 Mustangs when we were here. Saw a bunch off camera before and after filming. The one gift shop parking lot was full of them when we got there.
It would be easier in an automatic but you'll eat your brakes up. A manual helps a ton in saving brakes by dropping a gear and using the engine and transmission instead to slow it down. Still have to brake but not as much and definitely not as hard.
@WallieB26 i was watching you live after you rode this. I lived in Murphy and Andrews NC for years and loved riding the tail. Its the best time ever! The guy who owns the store that takes your pic is awesome. I had mypic taken but i cant find it. If i do ill share it. Im glad yall got to experience this. Its really wild especially when the bikers come up around you. Happy future traveling!
This video is awesome! To be honest with you, I seriously would rather be a passenger in a vehicle than drive on that road. Have a KMartlicious Day! Stay awesome!
Fair enough. It's definitely a work out especially for people like me who drive a manual car. As a passenger, though, you really get to enjoy the scenery! I could only a little bit since I had to focus on the road.
Fun fact, people create businesses with a po box in Montana so they can register thier car in Montana to avoid paying taxes on the car yearly and after purchase. You'll see a lot of super cars with Montana plates for that reason.
Great Video. I live in northeast Tennessee. This looks like a typical ride in the mountains for me and my wife. Try driving “The back of the dragon” from Marion near I-81 to Tazewell in southwest Virginia. After you complete the ride, follow Highway 421 to Harlan, KY for the closest Rax location. I expect you stopped at a few Bojangles along the way. 😂
Unfortunately there have been hundreds of accidents and dozens of deaths on this road. I've read that since 2000 it's roughly 37 or so. Hope you had a nice Easter.
Awesome EXCELLENT PROJECT VIDEO WAKM !!!! Thank u 😊
🎉😮😮😮😢🎉 happy wall paper
WALLIE- the BEE 🐝 needs to do the tail of the DRAGON THIS YEAR !!!!!!!!! 🐉 🫡

Great video and photos your channel is one my favorites on you tube
This looks so cool. Reminds me of a few roads I been on in Southern WV. Those photos in the end turned out great.
0:33 was that a Ariel atom 😯
I know this comment is over a year old, but yes. It was. lol

Wallie your brave on this one i would be scary going on this one thanks for sharing this one buddy. :D
Glad you enjoyed! Was a lot of fun!
Great video pictures turned out great glad you had fun
Great video, just a note that the "go-kart" car is actually street legal and is called an Ariel Atom.
Thanks! I had no clue what it was. Haha
Looked like fun!
Sure was!
Reminds me of Rt 19 deep in WV before Princeton...but 10 times longer. Gotta drive this sometime.
Oh yes, I'm familiar with 19. It's also a bit of a road course between the PA border and Washington, PA.
@@WallieB26 Rt 19? The part that runs through Waynesburg?
@@Gregoose33 yes!
I love the video you just do and see you come Tennessee
Awesome vid and the pics are amazing
Thanks!

Me, my friend and his family took that when we were down there in 2019, and I got MAJORLY car sick lol
Love the pictures Wallie! This vid was awesome too. I would’ve enjoyed that drive!🤗❤️
You have the perfect car for this. This reminds me of route 30 outside of Breezewood

Wallie, that was one of the best videos you've ever done - what a blast. Almost felt like I was along for the ride. Happy Easter and thank you!

This looks like our roads in southeast Ohio. Rt800 S; rt9 S; rt 528 is the road from hell.
You would be amazed I seen guys race z24 it's well a sleeper car
I've done four times in a big truck
Very cool. Are there many accidents or deaths on the dragon? Happy Easter
Unfortunately there have been hundreds of accidents and dozens of deaths on this road. I've read that since 2000 it's roughly 37 or so. Hope you had a nice Easter.
The Ariel Atom is a quick vehicle, i think 0-60 is like 3 seconds because it basically weighs nothing but it's street legal
I'd hate to drive that road in the rain.
It seems to have a greater abundance of sharp curves on steep hills than the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.
I drive 12 miles to work geez
If I took my mustang on this I would somehow someway take out a crowd.
I would hate to drive through there at night
This is gonna be awesome! The pictures are so cool! How much did it cost? @WallieB26
Pictures were different prices on each site. One was $10 per digital download and one was $8 per download and the other was $7 per download.
