Homosexuality was as natural as heterosexuality in India and it was never a Taboo nor was condemned by the Indian society or religion. It's only during the British rule, homosexuality was declared illegal by the British Govt. Indian religion, culture & tradition was too pagan for Britishers and therefore enforced their christian beliefs. The history of gays in India are as old as Ramayan & Mahabharata. In Ramayan, Rama never condemn gays but he blessed them, so also in Mahabharat, the great Hero Arjun had to be a Transvestite/ transgender for a year. Similarly Ambika intentionally was reborn as Hermaphrodite(Shikhandi) to exact her revenge on Bheeshma. Krishna and five great heroes of Mahabharat, Pandavas didn't reject Shikhandi's help based on her sexual identity or orientation but willingly accepted her help to defeat Bheeshma. Even the supreme gods Vishnu (Mohini incarnation) & Shiv (Ardhanarishvara) are Androgyne gods.
Ironically, the Britishers who declared homosexuality as illegal in India, made it legal in their own country. Before the advent of Britishers, homosexuality was never an issue in India. Today, when most of the western countries has gay rights, don't know why it is such a problem in India to accept gays despite the history of gay tolerance in Indian religion & tradition.

5) Hindu religion is based on many vedic sacred texts.
6) Those sacred texts embraced homosexual relationships. Such love tales are embraced as sacred and beautiful.
7) Those texts are GREATLY diverse on how different things work in this greatly non-uniformed universe.
8) Different forms of love, sexuality, bodies, forms, feelings, relationships, beliefs, views are portrait with equal purity and respect.
9) According to the texts, nothing in this universe is unnatural. Everything is natural. Any form of any feeling, birth is possible and entitled to be embraced.
10) Originally, Hindus and Hindu religion had the view of any form of love to be natural and tolerable.
11) Known to history is that- the influence of Islam and Christianity in India has changed the views and beliefs to quite great of an extant.
12) Those who had unusual forms in their perspective were punished throughout that era.
13) This still has managed to change the views of the current Indian population and continues to have the influence.
I can't comment on other religious beliefs but being a Hindu, I have my piece of view of it originally embracing any form of any product.
Now add that in Social Science books.

Hello every one , I really don't understand how the supreme court of India is leaving this deceasing on political leaders ,they are not educated enough not at least in the field of health science or psychology.
