  • Today I'm joined by Marty Garza who has amassed an enormous wealth of research on UFO and UFO adjacent encounters, to talk about what these things may or may not be, and how we might think about them.
    This podcast is intended as supplementary to Marty's appearances on Brothers of the Serpent, which can all be found on TH-cam (and are best listened to in order), or can be found on any podcast app:

    Marty is one of the most balanced and well versed researchers on the topic. To express ideas from a place of curiosity rather than a place of certainty denotes a wisdom generally lacking in the conversation about this phenomenon.

      Agreed. At the moment, it's the people offering cheap, easy answers and stories that are being heard on this topic, but hopefully more thoughtful voices like Marty's might gradually come to the fore more. I would love to see him on JRE, I wonder if there's a way that BoTS fans can try to make that happen. It would be an all time great ep.

    I like the analogy of life participants playing a video game with the objective of advancing to the next level. And how chaos is needed in order to progress. So what’s seen as negative from our perspective, is actually seen as a good thing or not a big deal because in the bigger scheme of things, in the higher level, chaos is actually good for growth and advancement. -Interesting take.
    And a great job on the part of the interviewer I must say. 👏

    • @BigDome1
      @BigDome1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, it's definitely a comforting idea in a way. No matter how horrific the things are that people experience on earth, maybe it some greater meaning and is not as bad as we think.
      But then, if you find yourself in medieval England in some kind of nightmarish torture device, that thought might not do all that much for you. "Don't worry about the burning agony of being inside the brazen bull! This is all part of your journey 😉"

      @@BigDome1 LoL. That’s funny. But I don’t think punishment equates to “chaos” necessarily. Punishment is part of having order and I think necessary for society to function properly. Chaos, I think would be more like wanton destruction of the innocent be it by man or nature that would leave many wondering wtf ?! that would lead towards growth somehow in the future or in a higher realm ?

      @BigDome1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@wilfred8724 It could, yeah. I hope so. Whenever grappling with all of this stuff and the myriad possibilities, in the end the most comforting thing is usually "I have no idea" - because the possibilities your imagination can conjure up can be in equal measure horrifying/beautiful. I think I've resigned myself to the mystifying nature of the universe a bit more now.

    Great interview! Love Marty on Snake Bros!
    I think this should be the starting point in trying to understand NHI or AI: to act one must have a goal which implies the goal hasn’t been achieved yet which implies limitations, constraints, frustrations. The only beings that aren’t acting are the ones who aren’t frustrated by anything and they’re sitting in a cave Omming somewhere so we never meet them. We meet the frustrated ones - the ones with goals and plans.
    Technological advancement doesn’t necessarily mean a “higher consciousness”. Some higher beings might have earned their place in Eden higher up on the tech tree. Perhaps some were born into it and those aliens are the spoiled brat prankster trust-fund kids of the cosmos.
    Also this:
    To dampen the undamped vibration which is the cycle of history (bad times > good men > good times > bad men > bad times) there must be a boundary and orifice/gate (not unlike those Monster Truck shocks) between two spaces: harsh environment / soft environment. The soft environment can only be sustained if constantly refreshed by beings forged in the fires of the harsh environment. That is why the gates to Eden are guarded with flaming sword. The Tree of Life is like free energy. Look what we’ve done with cheap energy: a lot of good, yes, but also ugly urban sprawl, rotting inner cities and Walmart at midnight. Free energy is destruction unless it is earned by a being achieving such mastery over the will and such truthfulness and loyalty as to be trusted with it.

    • @BigDome1
      @BigDome1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think all of these points are valid, but I'd say one starting point that comes before all of those ideas is that we have to accept that our logic might not even remotely apply here, and that as we essentially have no idea what we're dealing with, any assumptions that we make about what this "must" or "should" be or do could be completely wrong.
      That said, your point about free energy is interesting, as is the one about how only frustrated beings attempt to act. Perhaps they are frustrated, although there could also be some level of amusement in this that we can't understand. It's also possible that they aren't really real but are just a hard-coded feature of whatever system or universe we're living in.
      What's funny is how insanely speculative ALL of our conversations necessarily are on this topic, even at government level. Our understanding (if you could call it that) of the topic is in absolute infancy and we can barely even describe it at this point. We're in such an early stage, as if we've barely even really begun contemplating it.
