@Willy Ekerslike Major race riots have occurred in the United States at least since the Harlem Riots of 1948, but the 60's surpassed anything previously experienced. The five day Watts riot in August, 1965 saw 34 people die and a thousand injured; and the 1966 Detroit riot, 43 deaths.

I'll add some things closer to the US - Trump also defrauded his own charity (fined 2 million whilst in office), ran a fake university, bankrupt multiple times, had sex with a porn star whilst his wife was giving birth to their son, put kids in cages by the thousands, removed 4 IG's investigating misuse of power, attacked good diplomates who did a good job, put people in office who couldn't do the job, promised jobs to steel workers which never happened. promised great health care which he has not delivered on, and we have 100,000+ dead because he failed to act on a virus every other country was acting on (except Brazil). In short, Trump has no idea what he is doing. he was handed a great economy that weathered 2 pandemics, and now look at what we've got...
but there is more, look to the only signature legislation he has done, and its tax cuts for the 1% of the wealthiest people causing spiraling debt (during a boom time) which everyone on main street will have to pay back at some point in time. He has taken away environmental protections (literally removing laws around poisoning water), cheated on taxes, brokered deals for himself seeing millions in loans for an Indonesian resort, nepotism is rife, and he believed the Russians over his own Government agencies regarding Russian hacking of the elections. there is so much more... yet the Republican senators protect him... so before you remark on how Willy got it wrong, have a think about what the president is actually getting right. not what he promised, but what has actually been done right. Think of how he lies so much, we just don't know what is true.
You can quote previous riots all you want, but it changes nothing - this is the leader of the free world destroying US standing in the world. His way to deal with protests is to call in the army to fire guns at Americans. there is no talk of keeping clam, to right wrongs, nothing. he just wants to kill protesters. Look at what he did just to go to the Church to hold a bible he has never read - gassed lawful protesters and had them beaten. he is beating his subjects it seems...
