The OG Korasi special attack hit differently back in the good old days. This update was a huge disappointment. No, its damage is based off of strength bonus but it hits for magic damage

D claws to korasi is op asf. But I think the new meta for mains would be ancient godsword to korasi
Ur godsword spec does good damage even if it hits 30. Few seconds later guarantee 25 hp blood splat. Now since both wepons are 50% spec u can sneak a korasi for 60+ doing like 120+ damage easily asf

I’ve been playing OSRS for a few years but I’m new to PK. I like the video but I wish I understood what is going on more. Is there a common PK weapon that’s now useless because of the Voidwaker? Also, unrelated here but wasn’t some of the barrows gear used in PK and now it’s “useless”? Trying to understand it all. Thanks.
Nope, the new weapon doesn't make anything obsolete. It's just another addition.
@@tappajaav especially when its 800m lol, maybe if it was a quest reward worth couple hundred K, like the og korasi, it would make some things obsolete
OK so TL:DR for pking
everything depends on what level bracket youre in
alot of gear we used to use back in the day is just outclassed when you have gear that can just make you deal more damage.
Barrows is still used pretty often, the Axe set especially.
The range set has a shit effect, but has always remained good because it just has good defensive stats.
The mage set is the next best thing to the really really expensive shit, so you might as well just get them.
probably about 3-6% of the gear in the game is actually used in pvp.
like all of runescape, its all about efficiency now that everyone knows the math for everything.
The reason none of this really matters is because why bother spending and risking all the money for this stuff when you can buy a gmaul and a cheap godsword and just try to chance people. (meaning, keep trying to get a lucky double spec to get a K.O. near your max hits)
@Eartman I feel like that tactic works best for wildy pking/anti rushing. Mainly being that when you do that on pvp worlds you’re either gonna get asked to match risk after the first or MAYBE second fight. Or you’re gonna be known as a shitter, cuz the pvp world GE scene is a smaller community, IMO. In terms of pkers remembering your name as the guy who only risks maul or simply one item no risk.
