I’ve always said, Jagex should turn that shitty Duel Arena update, into a competitive arena, in which your points that you acquire in that mode go toward a total, and the top let’s say 100-200 players at the end of the season, get to participate in a esports type 1v1 tournament, and Jagex need an elo systems and the top people on the top 200 need to be monitored by Jagex to make sure no ahkers
Ya know I can’t think of anyway to prevent someone from cheating and using auto switching to get to the top, but there HAS TO BE some way to monitor only the top 200 players to weed out the cheaters

The dude participated in a scam where someone pretended to be oda and a bunch of people thought they were joining Odas team, and then ditter and other RoT members swapped ccs and killed them.

I'm purposefully not commenting on the reasons as to why accounts were disqualified (this particular account was one of many), but as we mentioned in this post:

This is a direct result of that increased resource, and if further rules are broken you can expect to see more accounts disqualified.

as someone who hasn't played RS in many, many years, the SINGLE ONLY reason I watch anything at all about RS is because of Oda. I watched a lot of this DMM and when I watched what happened live I genuinely felt so bad for oda and everyone else who was cheated out of a fair or fun experience. Everything RoT did was disgraceful, but what I don't understand is how they were allowed to use pk bot accounts. not just one or a few, masses of bot accounts. botting is still against the rules of the game correct? once it was made aware they were using a pk bot farm the entire clan should have been disqualified. They were rule breaking while the RS mods were actively watching what was going on. There should be rules and those rules should be enforced especially for events such as DMM, if not, what's to stop them from doing the same thing next event? Oda, I feel like if you join a CC for the DMM finale, there should be some system where if one of those ppl win, no matter what they say, the clan they are in within the game gets the glory along with the individual getting their glory and prize. They could put it on the website or something or at the end of the screen once its verified. That way if ppl infiltrate it will screw them since the cc that they are in-game gets the win regardless of what they claim. In addition you wouldnt be able to hop clans once it's like 15 minutes or so before the finale.

They should make you register with your official government ID to enter the DMM tournament. Bots can't be brought into the game without official government license. After all, it's a tournament with a lot of prize money, so there shouldn't be any opportunity for cheating. Don't like the idea of submitting your ID to Jagex? Then you don't get to participate in the tournament. Simple solution

Very simple fix to multi finals - require a minimum number of DMM points to participate. Not so many that PKers have to spend the whole tourney doing slayer and diaries, but enough to where you have to do some questing, skilling, and clues or diaries or slayer. It’s obvious that Jagex only cares about member count.

Mods are paid less then minimal wage in the UK.
