Cd POR, the game was not the immersive RPG you spent five years working on 2018 n prior and with the sudden change to a new game n New story with the linear structure focused on the main character Johnny in this action adventure game , The engine limitations requiring more time that your leader ship would not give you because of the shareholder deadline already confirm for 2020 in producing a cyberpunk game, it could never become the immersive RPG that you wanted n intended. But through edge runners you gave us the immersive experience in this world that the action adventure game cannot Simply because it’s a action adventure game which is supposed to by design focus on a singular linear story where all meaningful content takes place that simply uses the world or a map as a backdrop and setting for that story focus… It has no more purpose than that. Edge runners is a masterpiece that shows us everything the game is missing from a immersive transport of experience with a world focus and intern proves that you do know this IP. I am excited for your Witcher Tivitt as it is your roots and probably much needed after all of this, but I look forward to your eventual return to this cyberpunk universe on a engine that is more accommodating and hopefully with leader ship that gives you whatever timeline/deadline you as developers want so that you can actually produce the immersive RPG cyber punk experience that u originally intended and want to. Everything in the open world really brought that soulcrushing feeling together. The fog, dim neon lights beaming through, the rain on the car window. Soft patter of rain on the ground when you got out. How anyone can dislike night city is beyond me. One of, if not the BEST, open world cities ive ever seen.
Its been about a month since ive watched it. Im not gonna lie i was pretty sad for like 2 days right after i watched it. But everytime i play and i hear the song my heart starts to beat fast and i feel myself getting really hot.
i really want this to happen in some dlc: Lucy is on the moon and receives an anonymous message saying that if she wants to find David again, she must hack a specific Arasaka database. Despite being irritated and disbelieving at first, she decides to return to NC because that idea of meeting David again does not get out of her head. Upon arriving in NC Lucy needs help accessing the database, after contacting several people, Lucy ends up contacting V. And that's where the DLC begins. At first, we help Lucy until she gets the data from the server, which is where the plot really starts. Lucy discovers that Arasaka has a david construct. As soon as david put on the cyber skeleton, arasaka started to create his construct, they were watching the whole time. In the final fight, smasher takes a little longer to finish david as he is waiting for confirmation from arasaka that the procedure was over, as soon as it is confirmed Adam shoots david in the head. During this period, arasaka studied david and his resistance to cybernetics, david was kept in an arasaka laboratory suffering for all this time and now V and Lucy have a new mission: Save David!

One more twist, this option is only available if Sylverhand took V’s body and he is the one helping Lucy so she can go save V as well…

They improved the game a lot, it doesn't resemble the buggy mess it was back on release, it's an amazing title to play and I can't wait for the expansion. The devs pulled themselves up and fixed it.

i'm not sure if i would recommend it to someone who's already going through something tough and needs more of a happy suggestion, but i personally would say this show is worth the watch. although its ending is extremely sad, it has a bit of blissful peace in the very last scene and that's what i remember it by. i guess it all depends on a sort of glass half full mindset maybe? but if you do watch it and feel terrible after, 1. i am sorry and 2. try watching it just one more time and try to pay attention to the good relationships between characters and the great times they had together rather than the chaos that follows. i think that's what helped me have a brighter perspective. sorry this got so deep lol but fr it is hella sad and can have a way of making you feel very down days or weeks after watching so look after yourself if you end up watching it.

I got the game after watching edgerunners and yeah everytime the song comes on i usually just stop and look around me. Im in love with the community and everything in the game. I think it actually somehow broke me cuz now i want that to be reality.
I was in the middle of a gig and as I was sneaking through a vent, I heard it on a 6th street radio, I burst out and completely blew my cover trying to find that radio
I feel like I might be crazy but after experiencing the full unrelenting misery that is Night City, I just felt nothing. It was like, oh right, this is not going to end well because Night City is where happy endings go to die. So any time I hear this song, Imma just gonna bop, because tune is catchy as hell.
True, even the happiest ending (which just feels like postponing the inevitable) isn't really a "good" ending. At least for my V. I sorta got gang-pressed into leaving Night City, even though I made it clear with all my dialogue choices that I wanted to stay there. All the other characters were sorta happy V moved away (albeit admitting they'll miss him), but V was very much forced into a drastically different life for the sake of survival/love. Seeing V at the end with all his weapons, eddies, and even David's Jacket taken away from him just put a dampener on it for me. Yeah "you can't take any of it where you're going" is a good life lesson I guess, but it just feels like even though he "won" the fight for existence, his own identity was still torn away from him. Bummer ending no matter what you choose, it just depends how sweet you want your bittersweet ending to be from "melancholic" to "depressing and heart-breaking as fuck"

it’s crazy how emotional that show got me
I got the game after watching edgerunners and yeah everytime the song comes on i usually just stop and look around me. Im in love with the community and everything in the game. I think it actually somehow broke me cuz now i want that to be reality.
Cyberpunk's reality sounds even more depressing than ours, but of I could get some enhancements to grow a few inches, then maybe it would be worth...

I was in the middle of a gig and as I was sneaking through a vent, I heard it on a 6th street radio, I burst out and completely blew my cover trying to find that radio
I feel like I might be crazy but after experiencing the full unrelenting misery that is Night City, I just felt nothing. It was like, oh right, this is not going to end well because Night City is where happy endings go to die. So any time I hear this song, Imma just gonna bop, because tune is catchy as hell.
Almost everyone in nightcity knows there's no future for them so they just live in the moment. Pretty much the main theme of cyberpunk.
True, even the happiest ending (which just feels like postponing the inevitable) isn't really a "good" ending. At least for my V. I sorta got gang-pressed into leaving Night City, even though I made it clear with all my dialogue choices that I wanted to stay there. All the other characters were sorta happy V moved away (albeit admitting they'll miss him), but V was very much forced into a drastically different life for the sake of survival/love. Seeing V at the end with all his weapons, eddies, and even David's Jacket taken away from him just put a dampener on it for me. Yeah "you can't take any of it where you're going" is a good life lesson I guess, but it just feels like even though he "won" the fight for existence, his own identity was still torn away from him. Bummer ending no matter what you choose, it just depends how sweet you want your bittersweet ending to be from "melancholic" to "depressing and heart-breaking as fuck"

ive seen edgerunners one time the day it came out and its been fresh in my head ever since, like every story beat, everything. i think thats kinda crazy but i guess i liked it that much. ive also been playing the hell out of the game

If i hadn't watched AKAME Ga KiLL prior to Cyberpunk EdgeRunners i would have been a destroyed mess. Thankfully that ANiME prepared me for this one. If anyone still searching for something in the Feels Department, you could watch the ANiME it might hit you harder than the EdgeRunners
