As a Steelers fan, no one said we were going to the SB. They told us Wilson was washed, Fields was the problem in Chicago, and said how hard of a schedule they had. Who is replacing Tomlin? What available coach has his record? None. Tomlin didn’t tell everyone to drop passes. Wilson isn’t the issue. Tomlin isn’t the issue. We have many WRs who drop passes and can’t get open. We don’t have consistent Rbs. If a fan said we were SB contenders, they are the type of fan that says that every year like cowboys fan.
@@Rynos8771 The problem with Bill was he was the coach and GM. He wants all the power and no NFL owner wants to give him that. He had terrible seasons without Brady. Tomlin hasn’t had a losing season. Bill wasn’t wanted in the NFL. Tomlin is wanted. The only thing Bill has in common with dudes being drafted is that they both date college girls.
We were not supposed to do this well this season. Glad someone said it. Not one person I met has been able to give me a name that could replace Mike Tomlin. But there’s at least 25 other coaches on other teams that Tomlin could easily replace if he wanted to.
What a pointless topic, Tomlin will leave the stealers when hes ready to retire. When the season began i thought they would win 6-7 games and they are in the playoffs. Hes going nowhere.
Even after 20 years of coaching in the NFL, mike Tomlin is still much worse at late game situational football than a 9 year old madden player. You couldn’t pay me millions to hire mike Tomlin.
Tomlin has done a lot with a little. There have been a few years where they fell short in the playoffs, but for the most part he has overcome expectations each year. If you put an average coach with this personnel they would be bottom feeders.
Mike Tomlin is the Doc Rivers of the NBA. He won the Super Bowl with Bill Cowher team and has done nothing, but first round exit since all of Cowher’s players retired.
Mike Tomlin had Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky as his QB room last season and *still* made the playoffs with a winning record. Doc Rivers coasts on his team's talents, whereas Tomlin turns something out of nothing. He's a much better coach.
If Mike Tomlin is so great why aren't teams constantly trying to trade for him or hire him? Why doesn't he have a coaching tree that is highly sought after? 😂 😂
So you mean to tell me they had all that noise about Saquan not going for the record to avoid injury so they can with the SB and yet Jalen is in protocol and might not play against the Packers in the wild card? If they don’t make it the coaching staff owes Saquan a huge apology.
Mike Tomlin is a great head coach but a change of scenery is needed sometimes. Pittsburgh has been in the same place for the last 10 years. Winning season, 9-11 wins and first round playoff exit. As a Steelers fan, almost sure he will be picked up immediately if we let him go. I don’t want to see him go but not totally against it. I just foresee Saturday going like last year’s playoff game.
If Mediocre Mike is so large and in charge then he can take the blame for the team not winning when it matters. He can't be in complete control and also not responsible for these consistent late season collapses. Saying Mike McCarthy has had better teams is hilarious. Let's talk about how we had the Triple B's and did nothing with it. Let's talk about how we have the highest paid defense in the league and can't stop any of the top 10 offenses we play. I want to like Tomlin. I like the Tomlinisms and the way he handles the media. You just can't ignore the trends of late season collapses, losing to clearly inferior teams, and issues with bad attitudes in the locker room and on the field.
Finally some love for Tomlin. Anyone that wants Tomlin gone is a fool and there are close to 25 teams in the NFL that wished they had the Steelers problems. Be careful for what you asked for as I still remember people wanting Jeff Fisher out in TN and when he left; they have been awful every since. The Steelers issues are they are too good to have great draft picks, but too bad to be a top team in the league. That is what winning does in the NFL.
If you think mediocre Mike is gonna win another SB in his career then you’re a fool. Tomlin ruined the killer b’s. Another mediocre season incoming and first round exit.
Steelers literally have one great player on defense and none on offense. I don’t think Tomlin is drafting these players. It looks weird that the Steelers are missing so much on defense when it was something they you to stack up on all throughout the draft. They must of changed their GM or they need to change their GM to get better
The only thing that changed from then to now is that Pickens was gone for a few games and when he returned he forgot how to catch. Also the defense forgot how to cover and tackle and as far as the online goes they couldn’t block a pop warner team.
Yeah, mediocre Mike will make history as the most overrated HC in Steelers history who only won a Super Bowl with cowhers players and cowhers coaching staff. He also wasted the killer b’s.
Hey if teams want: -Near annual losses to some of the worst teams in the NFL -Near annual late season collapses -Embarrassing playoff losses to mediocre teams -Awful coordinators -Sustained mediocrity and for the 9th win of the season to be your annual Super Bowl -In-game mismanagement -Some of the worst players in the league to remain on the field because it takes Tomlin FOREVER to figure out when he needs to bench a player Tomlin is their guy If teams want -Actual scheming, or even the slightest whiff of scheming -Playoff wins Then no you don't actually want him
Tomlin can win against 75% of the league consistently BUT can’t in the playoffs. His teams are outmatched and outcoach. His Qb problem is not resolved with defense and that’s on him. Facts are facts. Our hope and patience wears off year after year and that’s a fact too. Last 3 first round draft picks were very poor and that’s on him also. Ownership is more concerned about the brand than winning because it worked in the 70’s and that’s their formula. (A la Dallas Cowboys)
I’m a bengals fan so obviously don’t really like the Steelers but have the absolute utmost respect for Mike tomlin I mean he’s been over 500 for 10+ years with not the most talented offense in years past but still plays good ole Steelers football that defense is elite unlike my bengals 😂😂😂😂 and people sleep on Najee and Jaylen Warren
My question is do you start Pickett or McKee. I like what i saw from Mckee. I know he won't lose me a game but the worry with Kenny Pickett is the turnovers.
I'm DONE with losing! He won a Super Bowl with Bill Cowher's players just like the Cowboys won it after Jimmy Johnson left. We gave Tomlin so many chances and got NOTHING...nothing but excuses. He is NOT an X's and O's coach...there is no schemes & no halftime adjustments. We basically do a RUN, RUN, PASS vanilla offense and then go 3 and OUT. Don't get me started on our defensive secondary and the soft zone that can't hold a lead (IF we have a lead). The rest of the NFL can have Tomlin and the rest of his coaching staff. Good RIDDANCE!
Okay! let's say you're right! who are you replacing Tomlin with? what coach that's available will replace Tomlin and get you the wins he has? BB is coaching in North Carolina, Pete Carroll has only won 1 SB and ruined the second shot! Kyle Shannahan hasn't won an SB but has 3 appearances and the 49ers aren't giving him up! Sean McVay needed a stacked team to win one and hasn't done anything except make the playoffs (exiting in the first or second round) since (also isn't available)! Coach Andy Reid isn't going anywhere! Sean Peyton in Denver has a lot going for him with a young roster! Neither of the Harbaugh brothers are going anywhere. So who are you going to replace him with? Mike McDaniel from the Dolphins maybe? Kevin Stefanski? would you really take either of those coaches? Who else might be out there?

He's been coached for 18 years look at the first 4 years now look at the last 14 It's time to go This George pickins AB stuff, terrible game management why would you go for it in midfield against the eagles with the whole quarter left to play when you're down by one score
I don't think Russell Wilson has been the problem, nor Mike Tomlin
You don’t think😂
Then who? 🤔
What available coach had Belichicks record? None, but they let him go anyways. U find someone else
Wilson is washed.
@@Rynos8771 The problem
with Bill was he was the coach and GM.
@@DamonHardinTomlin has final say on roster construction
We were not supposed to do this well this season.
Glad someone said it. Not one person I met has been able to give me a name that could replace Mike Tomlin. But there’s at least 25 other coaches on other teams that Tomlin could easily replace if he wanted to.
The ravens and eagles will win. The Steelers and packers laid an egg at the wrong time!
Both ain't winning SB
The ravens can’t win the superbowl.
What a pointless topic, Tomlin will leave the stealers when hes ready to retire. When the season began i thought they would win 6-7 games and they are in the playoffs. Hes going nowhere.
Bills and broncos will be a blow out. The bills at home are nearly unstoppable. 9 point favorites ain’t enough. Good season though Broncos
Yeah, they 1 and done.
Broncos have impressed this year but they have next to zero chance of beating the Bills in Buffalo.
Nobody is unstoppable
@@totesmagotes213never say never
@@hightops6440 I said nearly. Only the bengals and chiefs have beaten them in buffalo recently.
Making the same excuses people made with Marvin Lewis...
The Steelers teams from 2013 to 2018 were absolutely stacked and he did nothing with them
his is a floor raiser.
@@juultoo yeah, you right about that
The national media will be surprised when Tomlin, if he does go on the block, doesn’t fetch the attention they think he will.
His last Super Bowl was 2009. Mike Tomlin is the Doc Rivers of the NFL.
For sure, coach Tomlin connects with the modern day players.
Yeah. He connects with mediocrity alright.
He's a much better coach.
you mean kevin colbert team
@@coolcreep that's not a good thing. You need a high pick to right the ship with a qb.
He literally won a Super Bowl in 2009 lol
@@ChrisCash720 THIS. Without elite QB play, you cannot compete for a Super Bowl. Steelers haven't had that for a long time.
If he becomes available the Falcons should get him
Best idea I've heard!!!!!
@@JohnQue2174nope not with that’s rookie there
Please do it. Have him. Expect the same results from the past couple years on the Steelers. He won’t win you a SB.
What is that culture worth if you can't win a playoff game in a decade
Good morning
What about winning and holding people accountable??? What do they have?
yea man andy reids job is in jeopardy if tomlin is available. lmao
😂
Good, we will take Andy Reid instead of mediocre Mike. 😂
I hope Hurts is clear to play wouldn't it be crazy if both teams had to use backup Q.B's
Ngl, the body type comment funny af😂😂💀
If Tomlin is available, then Bengals should definitely try to get him.
Please get him. Expect 9-10 mediocre seasons and first round exits.
You are a fool for wanting Tomlin to lead us through the same exact season for the 7th year in a row
If you think mediocre Mike is gonna win another SB in his career then you’re a fool. Tomlin ruined the killer b’s. Another mediocre season incoming and first round exit.
Us giants would take a 9-8 over a 3-14 any day😂💯
Good for yall. The standard for Steelers fans is much higher than 9 wins.
Take him please. You won’t win a SB with mediocre Mike expect 1st round exits.
Steelers literally have one great player on defense and none on offense. I don’t think Tomlin is drafting these players. It looks weird that the Steelers are missing so much on defense when it was something they you to stack up on all throughout the draft. They must of changed their GM or they need to change their GM to get better
Id love Tomlin to coach my Bears.
DF still mad cause your wife wants J. Hurts 🥒 😆😆😂 😆😆
Around Thanksgiving I was saying the Steelers are definitely going to resign Wilson!
Not so sure now.
The only thing that changed from then to now is that Pickens was gone for a few games and when he returned he forgot how to catch. Also the defense forgot how to cover and tackle and as far as the online goes they couldn’t block a pop warner team.
I’m gonna go on record to say Howie Roseman and Mike Tomlin will make history.
Yeah, mediocre Mike will make history as the most overrated HC in Steelers history who only won a Super Bowl with cowhers players and cowhers coaching staff. He also wasted the killer b’s.
Id take him in Miami in a heartbeat.
Tomlin aint leaving the Burgh.
Hey if teams want:
-Near annual losses to some of the worst teams in the NFL
-Near annual late season collapses
-Embarrassing playoff losses to mediocre teams
-Awful coordinators
-Sustained mediocrity and for the 9th win of the season to be your annual Super Bowl
-In-game mismanagement
-Some of the worst players in the league to remain on the field because it takes Tomlin FOREVER to figure out when he needs to bench a player
Tomlin is their guy
If teams want
-Actual scheming, or even the slightest whiff of scheming
-Playoff wins
Then no you don't actually want him
6:37 Bo Nix is playing… fine.
They can have him and take coordinaters with him
Thing is Tomlin has gotten the best out of the QBs his been given since Prime Big Ben was forever ago.
QBs he's been given? He's the one who wanted these guys
Dan Campbell is gonna get a statue.
The clickbait titles are so appropriate.
MVPs and numbers don't mean anything. Playoff wins and rings mean something.
Hank Baskett caught a stray 😂
Tomlin has a no trade clause
Bill Belichick was available and nobody in NFL wanted him and yall think Tomlin is jus some god coach. Please!?
Would love him for the 49er's.
Please take him. Don’t be angry if you expect mediocre 9-10 win seasons and first round exits.
jalen hurts becomes very average if you force him to be a traditional pocket passer and take away the dual threat
I wouldn’t listen to Foxworth after his bold prediction regarding the Lions-Vikings!!! 😂
The Jets should back up a tractor trailer full of money and try to get Tomlin. If he leaves, it would serve those Steeler fans right!
I honestly can’t recall a coordinator under tomlin who went on to coach elsewhere in nfl.
There is none
Bruce arians was under Mike tomlin from 2008-2011
I’m a bengals fan so obviously don’t really like the Steelers but have the absolute utmost respect for Mike tomlin I mean he’s been over 500 for 10+ years with not the most talented offense in years past but still plays good ole Steelers football that defense is elite unlike my bengals 😂😂😂😂 and people sleep on Najee and Jaylen Warren
Oh stop it, you and I know why he's still at Pittsburgh.. and it's not the bs winning seasons crap.
Best game of the first round of the playoffs bills vs denver
Rest Jalen Hurts. They don’t need him against the Packers
Jalen is playing the media just need a topic
Whoever did Sarurdays makeup should be arrested 😂😂😂😂😂😂
For the last decade Tomlin is Marvin Lewis 2.0
Tomlin would have to be on a successful team in spite of him.
In Cincinnati, we would have won two Superbowls already
With mediocre Mike?, your out of your mind 😂
My question is do you start Pickett or McKee. I like what i saw from Mckee. I know he won't lose me a game but the worry with Kenny Pickett is the turnovers.
bruh since when concussion protocol takes over 3 weeks
I'm so laughing at the eagles organization right now!!!! 😂😂
@@TigaWould Somebody...ANYBODY who is young aggressive and creative like Andy Reid or Dan Campbell. They are out there we just need to look.
@@TigaWould see the thing is i won't mind a coach with no proven HC experience. Tomlin didn't have any HC experience when he was hired. Cowher didn't. Chuck Noll didn't. Andy reid didn't. Sean Mcvay didn't. Bill Belichick didn't. All of these guys did not have HC experience prior to their first HC gig. Moot point my friend.

Von miller was "Home-Grown" because he could have won the Super Bowl MVP along with Donald! they were neck and neck as far as who was deserving that MVP award in the Super Bowl. The only thing that put Donald over was that he got to Burrow before Miller did in that last play when Ramsey got burned by Jamar Chase.
Pats fan here. We will gladly take Mike Tomlin off your hands, Pittsburgh.
Sounds good to me, Drake Maye, Douglas and Stevenson for Tomlin? Since he’s so wonderful.

Really....Comparing THOSE 2 Mike's??!! Ok, yeah, Pittsburgh hire Mike McCarthy and Dallas can take.....who am I kidding, Jerry, and THAT Mike 😅 would NEVER coexist 😢. Man, I need a new owner!
😂
Facts don't lie. Check the record books.
Why would Adam just think that out the blue? It’s either you know it to be so not.
Greeny said irregardless, lol 😅
So universally teams want to be 'just' over .500 and never win the SB?......yikes.
Watch out Andy Reid! 😂
He's amazing if you want to win ten games with seven frustrating losses and have wide receiver drama 90 percent of the time.
All I’m gonna say is if Tomlin was on any other team he would have been fired when Big Ben retired
Please take him, we’ll take two 1sts 😂😂
Quarterbacks are the only one that can run and not get hit, they just have to slide feet first, not sure what Mark watches.
As a Steelers fan, we don't deserve Tomlin, I hope he goes somewhere else and gets the love he deserves... Steelers fans are either racist, spoiled and ungrateful, entitled or all the above...
You are right after the 79 Superbowl the Steelers went 26 years without a Superbowl win
You may only be describing yourself.
yeah no. Im black and tomlin needs to go. We need something fresh.
@21Kolb your not going to win anything without a great quarterback it's just that simple this is not 15 years ago NFL and even then the great quarterback won the Superbowl
