I really like your format...voice over mostly while you prepare and cook, fast speed through most of the chopping, no background music. Great video, and so well organized! You have a dream kitchen! Thank you for showing it, and also thank you for showing yourself some, too. Well done! I subscribed!

Wow, that might be the best feedback I’ve ever received. Thank you for taking the time to share that with me. I knew I’d never be able to keep up with my channel if I had to put hours and hours into editing, which is what all of the “big time” TH-camrs say you *must* do in order to succeed. However, I think my online friends are drawn to the simplicity of my videos and for that I am so very thankful!☀️

Perfect avocadoes - on the day you wanted to use them - wow, that's like winning the lottery almost, lol. 😯☘ Waking up to a clean kitchen is even better than coming home to a well-made bed with fresh sheets! I feel the same way about the need for endless trimming of chicken thighs - it makes the 'edible' per-pound price so much higher than chicken breasts, so I rarely buy the thighs.

My local fishmongers use a stainless steel bar (like a bar of soap) to get rid of fish odour. So when I’m handling strong smelling food, like fish or raw garlic, I wash my hands with regular liquid soap but also rub my hands all over with something stainless steel at the same time, usually a dessert spoon. I’ve no idea why it works but it does. I hope that helps 😊

Great meals Audrey, love all your videos. Your steaks looked yummy. I love using chicken thighs. I think they are best. Ty Audrey. 😊

I love seeing what creative ideas you come up with meals. I am doing a canning project every week to reduce my freezer and get things back on the shelf.

I don’t trim the fat off of chicken - that’s where the flavour is and the reason to buy thighs instead of breasts. If you don’t want the extra fat, then just buy the breasts. Thankyou for the video!

I’ve never noticed quite that much fat and gristle on bone-in thighs. I may try that one more time before writing them off altogether.☀️
