December Grocery Haul for Family of 10!
Just one jersey cow gifts, milk you don’t have to have pregnant cow that had a baby to get that milk. I don’t understand.
Yes, a milk cow has to have a calf every year in order to continue producing milk. Our jersey is due with her third calf in about two weeks. She had twins in October of 2023.
I have a question about having the eggs go bad. Been doing this for a few months in a row, and just went back to check on the jars. A couple of them are cloudy. I opened one and two of the eggs were cracked. I pulled them, and surely, it's not something I'd want to eat! But have those bad eggs ruin the rest of the jar?
I have missed you so much! It’s been a few months since you have posted.
I combined cream and 2 spoons of the sour cream exactly how you suggested, after 24 h nothing has happened. No curding or thickening... What am i doing wrong?
This was so sad and also so very beautiful ❤️
So the Jersey cows are the best huh. So all I need is a sweet Jersey cow, two helpful teens and a farm and i'm in business. cold stone creamery and marble slab, your days are numbered.
How long do you allow the milk to sit to get the separation ?
How long do you allow the milk to sit to get the separation ?
Cows are such important animals and we take them for granted. If they went extinct we would be in trouble
Try soaking the fresh hashbrowns in cold water to extract some of the starch before frying. This has worked great for me. Thanks for sharing your meal ideas!
I really appreciated your recipes. Thank you so much. Please continue to keep the homemade ones coming.
So glad to know you and your family are doing well, and my heart goes out to you and your community for all that you've had to endure through that terrible storm.
I'm so sorry about your friend. Its beautiful to see a community pull together. Each storm is a leaning experience. Glad yall are safe 🙏 ❤
So glad you guys are okay. Looking forward to seeing your lists so we can add to our preps. 😊
Wow, no one can miss the session, subbed! Impressive! Teacher of the year by us!
Just found your channel this morning. So glad to hear that you are all okay. And to hear that you and your close knit community are thriving is so ,so wonderful! Such a real life, current example of why we all should prepare. Many blessings to you all❤ A sister from Montana
I'm in Aiken and it was brutal. We have power back finally but that's after the power crews literally found the roads until our tree 😢. Thankful to be alive, striving for balance and so grateful to have been relatively prprepares. Take care ❤
I'm in Modoc SC , about 35 minutes from Augusta Ga. Our small community has been devastated. On day 8 with no power and estimated are another 2-3 weeks before being restored. It's nice to see people working together and I pray that'll continue as the months go on. This clean up will take a long time. We have close to 100 trees down just on our property. God bless you guys!
Thankful yall are safe and have a wonderful community of friends and neighbors to lift each other up and help each other
Glad you okay! It’s devastating hear in TN and NC. Absolutely heartbreaking!
I was trying to find you to see how you faired!
Our son is up towards Greenville and his little community is doing the same thing. Good neighbors help in tough times.
Worship and communion
It's so hard. I've been praying. I still have difficult memories from Ivan 20 years ago.
I'm glad that your family and neighbors are safe. I'm so sorry to hear of your friend. This storm was more powerful and wide than anyone thought.
Glad to see your update. I’ve been concerned that your area might have been hit hard. Initial predictions had the storm coming straight at me (a little west of Atlanta) but fortunately we were spared the devastating weather that you, NC, and eastern Tennessee received. I am praying constantly for everyone affected by Helene. Look forward to more updates!
Thank you for the update! Praying for all!
Thank You for taking the time to let us know your family is safe. So happy to hear you are well!
So thankful to hear that all is well on your farm. Here in upstate SC, Helene showed out! Trees and power lines are down all over. A tree landed on our house but the damage was minimal and we’ve had six days without power. We are thankful for God’s protection and provision. As you said, this has been a great leaning experience and we found out where we have some gaps in our preparedness. I love the way your community came together. What a joyful beautiful thing!
Sending lots of prayers 🙏 it's amazing what God needs to do to get people together, for everything there's a reason, but with that being said, disaster are devastating, I'm thankful you are all ok, praying for those who lost a loved one, animals and houses. Take care ❤🙏
I am so happy to hear you are all ok…I have been thinking of you and was going to check in.. my heart goes out to you all.
So glad you all are safe and have such an incredible community
Thankful for all the heavenly protection you had. I really look forward to "lessons learned" video.
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear you are all okay. ❤
What a blessing you are to those around you. I'm glad you're all well and looking for the good in the devastation. Be. well!
Thank you for sharing this. It is unfortunate what happened but I love how you all have come together to help. It is amazing what you all have been able to do. Great idea to fill up that bag in the tub and fill the jars.
We are in Florida and many times we have come together with our neighbors to help each other before and after the storm. So glad your time of need is being met with neighbors helping each other. God bless.
👍 to your daughter
I'm so glad you and your family are safe - wishing all of you in your area success in the clear up - thanks for the update xxx
Hey Audrey, I've been so concerned. Bless your hearts. I had no idea it was so bad by you. Ty for update. I praise God you all are safe. Do you have mailing address you're safe to give me or put your email and I'll contact you that way. I'll be waiting to hear from you.
I’m happy to give it to via email. audrey@jnwilkerson.com
I'm so glad you guys are ok!!!!
Thank you for the update. We have been praying for everyone hit by the storm. Hugs from Texas
So good to hear from you❤️ I have been watching all the videos and it is heartbreaking.
Oh my gosh! Glad your safe! Sorry about your town and friends! ❤❤
I'm so glad to see that you're okay. Prayers for your neighbors and the cleanup process.
Audrey are y'all ok? Damage? Family?
I was wondering the same.
Can't imagine taking care of a family of 10 these days ... I am retired and we help out the Kids and Grandkids and always keep our place in the country ready for them all if need be and it's a chore these days when retired ... prices are crazy > of course worse now since when this video was released ... but it just seems to keep getting worse ... it is late Sept 2024 as I write this and things look shall we say challenging in the near future and I fear what will happen after the election no matter who ends up winning. All we can do is the best we all can ... as you mentioned be positive > but one can't be naive either ... numerous issues that can always pop up ... be it weather (Northern Michigan here) or worse Take Care ...
Filter water? I was told distilled water. So what is the truth. Don’t want to buy water if I don’t need to?😮
All I can tell you is I’ve been doing this for years and I’ve never used anything but our berkey filtered water.
One of the farms I get milk from has chocolate milk at times. I could live on it. I drink so much that I need to start making some on my own. Thank you for showing that. I'm interested in how you make homemade vanilla! Also, wondering if you could do a video on clabber?
So if we use a grocery store sour cream to get some started, after that, we could just keep some going from our own sc that we've made, right?
