A great owner's perspective on the Himalayan, thank you for sharing your experiences with it. I'm looking into getting one myself as a daily commuter (15min highway, 15min city) but also for long distance road based adventures. I'm definitely more of an explorer than adventurer :)

RE motorcycles tend to be heavy due to steel construction. They are built like tanks, but that is what makes them so durable and reliable.
In India, RE Bullets have the status of family heirlooms, passed down across generations.

Bro i have black Himalayan 411 , purchased it 1month ago, and i am happy with everything overall. Just 2 headache there the mileage and puncture problem.
Do you use any sealant or do you recommend it or what about tubeless conversion?
And one last thing, please let me know how much mileage you got before first servicing and after it?
I am getting around 20 mileage before first service

Hi, congratulations for your new motorcycle! My motorcycle is still in the stock condition and I haven't done any mods to it as of now. In my personal opinion I wouldn't change the Spoke Wheels. And as long as you are maintaining the right psi in the tires it shouldn't give you any issues. I suggest you check the user manual for the right psi. I keep 27 in front and 34 at the back tire that's for when you have a pillion as well.
And regarding the mileage it gave me around 27 to 28 I guess before first service and right now its giving me around 32 or 33 in the city. But I tend to just calculate it on 30 kmpl in city and fill up accordingly. And Highway mileage was 40 to 44 kmpl that's before the second service.

      Thank you.
That's equivalent to £2,700 UK sterling.
The same bike in the UK was £4,600, so much cheaper in India.
