Have a bison latifrons patella and rib, red wolf jaw, and a mystery herbivore jaw still working on identifying. Due to health problems, I can't go out for very long, but you've given me a passion for it and I thank you

When I was a kid (here in the US) my Grand Father was a farmer and when he'd till up his fields each year, I'd spend a couple of days kicking around the dirt looking for arrowheads. I spent hours of my life out there but I only found maybe 4-5 and some fragments which amounted to finding about one artifact a year.
Anyway, I recall on one specific day, I found a piece of a broken arrowhead and if it had been complete, it would have been the largest one I'd ever found by large margin. It was an exciting find, even though it was incomplete. Well on that same day, maybe 30 minutes later, while kicking around the field about 75ft/30m away from where I found the first piece, I found another piece of a big arrowhead, which alone was really exciting and had never happened before!
When I got home that evening I was examining my two finds and to my surprise... they fit together and were of the same arrowhead! I tell this story because it felt like a small miracle. After looking around for years I never found much however, on just one day, I found two pieces to the largest artifact I'd ever found. Small miracles like that can happen when we're looking for stuff like this, so if you're ever searching for the other half of a fossil, don't give up hope. It can happen!

Wonderful! The people at the museum must have been beside themselves with excitement when you showed them the first part. And 9 month later you showed them the other half of the concerti on including part of the skull! Out of all those heaps of stone, out of all the concretions still weathering out of the cliff, you did something that seems close to impossible. As you know, flying birds are made up of small, fragile, hollow bones and fossils as complete as this are incredibly rare. I look forward to hearing about further developments as it is studied and described.
