I used to love doing this when I bred celestials. It's tiring but you get the energy from the excitment of finding good fish. I always start at the tail as it's the most obvious then the rest of the body. Tail and straight body is the only thing at this age. Fused tails are the most sad as the fry are often perfect in every other way, even the tail is a lovely shape yu have to reject, this affects their swimming badly as adults as they waddle rather than gracefully swim. They can be kept to be sold as cheaper fish if you have the space. A torch is often neccesary to see if the tail split is fully formed as it can be partialy split too and they're so small. Often the tail is fully split but overlaps down the centre this is Ok it can be Ok later but is difficult to see. A white bowl is essential. So are daphnia! And how.

U should still sell them for lower price, many people would take them in USA Or sell them to pet stores, Please don’t kill them 🙏😭 Even though u use clover oil is still sad if they are not too bad 😩 Only use clover oil for the bad condition ones please 😔

Thank you. There is really not a correct way to dispose them. It is basically up to your decision.
Goldfish - Zhao’s Fancies the correct way is with clove oil or an alternative euthanasia.
