He looks so much like him, he was the excellent choice to play that part. Getting into Jahar's mindset must have been hard..but he did an extraordinary job. I applaud his willingness to actually play the part. Hope to see him in more movies.
Just saw this movie. This kid was phenomenal. I don't think I've ever seen a movie where someone so accurately portrayed a sociopath. I hope to see more from him.
except dzhokhar's character did not show any traits of sociopathy. for most of the movie he was just cracking jokes and even when he did the "bombings" he's just walking and dropping a backpack. not a super difficult role
Alex is accurate portraying Jahar as that he was an angry guy and did not represent a true “Muslim”. The dude was flunking out of college and his brother was angry that he wasn’t able to pursue his boxing career. Two brothers that were angry with society and took it out on everyone

This Movie seemed like it was ALL about Mark Wahlberg and the Bombing was the Backstory...Wahlberg character was EVERYWHERE and it kind of Confused me and started to get annoying....His character was not even real it was Fictional character yet he DOMINATED the Movie...Why??

You should go see his new film Hereditary. He’s amazing in it. He got into an even darker place for his role and I loved it.

I couldn't recognise him in the movie very well as he looked so identical to the character, he also played the role fantastically. x
i'm so proud of him for playing this role..he did a great job and he grew up so nicely
