    Great review! We purchased this over the winter, a little hesitantly, but your testing and review has convinced me to keep it and give it a whirl. Thanks!!

    Thanks so much for the great review. I can't believe I found a video review of the exact machine I am considering buying that I saw at the store recently.

    Suggestion for anyone buying a 4-cycle blower, before running it, adjust the valve lash. They seem to run rough when first starting the engine and may not run at high rpm because the valves are not adjusted correctly. I bought two makita blowers much like the senix (same engine design) and both would not run right until adjusted. Poor quality control on the engine build. The engines are outsourced so I dont blame makita. But once adjusted, it runs like a champ.
    The valve gap should be 0.006” or 0.15mm when stone cold.

    Is there a way to figure out the Oil level? or do you have to open it? I do not see a dipstick to check level. How often do you think you need to add oil?

    Anyone know where to find a starter rope replacement? Check everywhere on line to no avail.

    You should do a review between your echo pb-250LN and this senix leaf blower.

      That would be a good comparison.

    looks like a nice machine. is it as heavy as some of the other 4 cycle blowers?

      @pimpinpenz  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Alan Marshall The machine is lightweight not like other MTD products that are out on the market. The weight is very comparable to that of my echo pb250

    Will these ever be available in the uk? Ive not long bought a bg86 which is the top of the line hand held blower by stihl but i find its the worst thing ever first start pulls never happen when its hot its a bitch to start the hole bottom piece of the machine is plastic theres no rubber to stop it from moving about. something like this senix blower would be ideal

    Will this compare to the Makita BHX2500CA? Same appearance in many ways. ???

      Makita has lots of issues and consumes oil

    Why would you choose 4 cycle 2 cycle is way better

    • @corvetguy64
      @corvetguy64 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A lot of reasons. You dont smell like fuel oil after using a 4 stroke, its WAY quieter, cleaner to store, no oil coating everything, doesnt need constant adjusting of the carb, runs smoother. Its a win win for me. I love the 4 cycle blowers. But adding a oval nozzle is a huge help to get more mph from the air tube.

    Just picked up a Makita/Dolmar 4 cycle handheld blower. Great little unit. Does this Senix give an engine manufacturer?

    Yes Ruben of earlier post, it is a shameless Chinese knockoff of a Makita leaf blower, I am sure. My Makita is 11 years old .
