Great teaching David. Yes Nebbi was a pagan and his ref was to the son of the gods, but for us it's God...Jesus with them. If those commenting don't Jesus, we need to pray for ttem

Omgosh had flipped to daneil 3 didnt read lastnight then this morning flipped open the book and it went to daneil 3 so i read. Well then i came to this sermon ...this a.m was yelling why havent i heard or know etc.... and then 19 mins in im being shown why 😫❤ thank you
Wow, does this message just hit home to us here in the U.S today or what? Government mandates and vaccinations could easily be used in place of bowing down to music and statues of this king who didn't know God, only of Him. Glad I chose to watch this today and thankful for your message Mr Guzik.
just a thought... so if God doesnt deliver them from the furnace... wouldnt that make them cooked... as in .. dead. Is Nebuchadnezzar concerned with whether or not they would worship his image in the afterlife? asking for a friend...
2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4 mentions this man who will enter into the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and demand to be worshipped exclusively as God. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Disappointed that David did not address the fact that only the KJV and NKJV use the term "Son of God" Dan 3:25. All other translations use the phrase "son of the gods" which is more accurate. The book is written in Aramaic. The Aramaic translation of elahin is plural for "gods". King Neb. was a pagan pluralistic person. The idea of ONE god would have been a foreign concept to him. It is still Yeshua in the furnace but the King James version is incorrect in this instance.
@@wendymuilenburg8989 True but since Son of God refers to Jesus as the only begotten Son of (one) God it is very much appropriate to use KJV/NKJV. Nevertheless we’re blessed by these speaking. May people realize who our Lord Jesus is and be saved! :)
I didnt want to wast my time pointing this out but the king was not a believer and even the Jews did not know who jesus was when he walked the earth. Jesus even had to tell peter that the only reason he knew who he was is because God revealed it to him ... ..the scripture does not say it was jesus he said it looked like a son of God. Daniel 3:28 proves he wasnt talking about Jesus. It's so dangerous for people to keep adding to His word just because they want to push a narrative.
Lex, you’re making an interesting point. To be clear, I don’t think that Nebuchadnezzar knew or understood it was Jesus or even the Jewish Messiah... but I think WE can know and understand that it was Jesus. To whatever extent Nebuchadnezzar thought the “son of God” in the fire was divine, he probably connected it to one of the Babylonian deities that he knew of. It was only later that Nebuchadnezzar came to some kind of faith and honored Yahweh.
But that would be the danger of reading too much into this, because the more we try to explain the more were forced to add to the scriptures. And we all know that that there is a punishment for adding or changing the most highs words. Even after they came out of the fire we can clearly see that the king had no idea who not only was in the fire, but what the name of their God was. I absolutely believe the kings response was based on his own experiences with his Gods but this was his first encounter with truly acknowledging who Yah is. The king always addressed yah as the God of 28Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants

When you read this entire passage from the Book of Daniel, most religious people who read with a caring but open mind see the Son of God as a reference to Daniel, not to Jesus. The most exalted prophets in the Old Testament were occasionally referred to as such. Plus here the story is bookended by the wondrous descriptions of Daniel's piety. Hundreds (not single) of years later, Jesus only referred to himself as the Son of Man; we and his later disciples have attributed the reference of the "Son of God."

I enjoyed this until he said to be like Daniel and stay away when others are suffering. I don't like the fact that he said that. It was a good video until he said that.

Where in the Bible does it say that one day there will arise a mighty world ruler like Nebuchadnezzar. Pastor mentions it at 37:25 of this film.

I think his point was don't worry about corporate climbing God will place you anyways and no one can stop that
