    I recently bought a Spyderco Para 2 honestly I can say this is the best knife I have ever owned it comes razor sharp from the factory and is such a good quality knife it is worth every penny you’re gonna pay for this knife. And trust me I was skeptical about this knife but all that went away and am sooo happy with its performance and look.

    Spyderco is basically the Glock of the knife industry, (emphasizing function over form), and the PM2 is their G19.

    Just got one myself, this my sebenza without the 500$ price tag. Great knife, holds an edge, smooth as butter, great look, just in love with it.

    Ordered one in S110V. It became my instant favorite among all the knives in my collection.

    Great video, brothers in arms playing in the back is nice. The Para 3 is my favorite but I really like the 2 also.

    Good vid. I absolutely love the few Spyderco knives I have. The PM2 is the next one my list.
    Keep pumping out the vids and you'll pick up more subs.

    Have had the Osborne 940 EDC for years. Just bought the PM2 and waiting to check it out and compare to my benchmade.
    Everyone seems to like them.

    for most of us here in the comment section S30V is probably more than sufficient in everyday use. IMHO!!!

    Great knife. Great video, and love your website. For me, the pm2 is just about the right size, but my other edc is a Recon 1.

    Spyderco's styling is an acquired taste. I used to think the PM2 and other Spydercos looked weird. Now I love the styling of the PM2 and the Manix 2.

    I have a question, would this be too intense for a every day carry? Thanks for your time and kindness. I would like to have this as my first knife. I enjoy the style of it.

      Hey David; I'm the guy in the video (now my active channel is Rugged Outdoors Guide). It depends on where you'll carry it and what is your daily lifestyle/routine. If you're a construction worker in Arkansas, then it's not too intense. If you're an office worker in Des Moines, I'd stick with a sleeker, smaller knife (I love my Carter Trinity from Ontario Knife Company).

    Have you notciced on this knife that when cutting cardboard you get some nicks on the blade. Really tiny chips in some spots. Is that normal for s30v?

    • @knifeup7566
      @knifeup7566  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not noticed that at all, but I've really only done a cardboard test one time and I don't use it on a regular basis for cutting down boxes. Perhaps if I did I might notice the same. Hmmm... now I'm curious!

      Nope. I have cut up some double and close to triple walled thick furniture boxes with my PM2. No such issues. You might have a lemon

    Cool video, so what is your EDC knife?

    • @knifeup7566
      @knifeup7566  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My EDC changes every year or so (as it does I think for most people) but the one I have may be my choice for many years. Why? Because it's not just a good quality knife, but it looks very cool and sleek, but most importantly, it has a hefty blade and VERY small, minimalist (but very useable) handle that makes it feel like I'm not carrying it at all when it's in my jeans pockets. My EDC is the Ontario Knife Company (OKC) Carter Trinity.

    Hi, s30v or s110v? Can’t choose. Thank you.

    • @peterstack2893
      @peterstack2893 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a toss-up for me! The Hardness (Rockwell Hardness - HRC) is similar, so if I had a choice, I just go for the less expensive option at the time !

      @tristan5458 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      S110V. Overall better steel. Extremely tough steel and fantastic edge retention. A little more expensive steel, but worth every penny. Probably only second to M390

    When buying the Paramilitary 2 beware of counterfeit knives. Do your homework and watch videos that describe the differences between the fake and authentic.

    ::causally tosses the box to the side:: You might want not want to ding up that box too much, affects resale :D

      It's meant for use pilgrim. And the box condition isn't a huge consideration on resale

      I love my EDC because of its small handle and substantial blade. It's the Ontario Knife Company (OKC) Carter Trinity flipper! We have a review on it in our small collection of videos here on You Tube. I think this is my only EDC for awhile moving forward!

      The military has a 4 in. Blade this knife has a 3.43 in blade for the pm2

    • @hp2114b
      @hp2114b 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@daddygc5814 He's talking about the PM1, not the Military. The PM1 has a shorter blade, closer in length to a Para 3 than a PM2.
