@@swdweeb Just checking in...I am truly sorry I haven't been in the 'spotlight' during covid, truth is the sebatical did me a lot of good, and I am ready for the next chapter of my barber career, whichever the way the wind blows me. I plan on traveling across the country again starting in about a month, so there will be some new content from that trip. Thank you again for all the nice support you have shown to me...Im honestly just a simple guy who loves taking care of people and showing everyone just a little more 'love' than the last person who cut your hair. Legendary barber in action here...i feel like this video would get a million views if you upload the raw video without music and add barber ASMR to the title...
As much as I would love a million views, the 45 minute video wouldn't be what you hoped it would be. I had two friends in the shop with me and the conversation between them and john goes on for much of it. The music he had playing is a problem as well as YT flagged it a ll as copyright violation. If I remove the sound track then it's not very ASMR either.

Wow, that guy really looked like he knew what he was doing. That looked comfortable and relaxing whereas I have always imagined a shave like that to be a bit nerve wracking.
If you've never seen "haircut harry". some of his shaves seem a bit nerve wracking, he gets cut in multiple ones. I've had two shaves by John and he's never even left a mark. He was a great find, unfortunately... maybe fortunately for my wallet, he's 3.5 hours away ;-)

Sw, Well yes he is! Slowly to be sure but the pattern for the shorter box side is just about done a little more sanding another coat of paint and it will be ready to try and see if it will mould....Martin

He did. he actually went through and touched up a lot of spots that I didn't show. The whole thing took 45 minutes. It was great.

The original audio contains a lot of conversation and copyrighted music. If you're looking for ASMR you'd be disappointed with the original audio.
