Thanks for coming along! Going to your neighborhood next!
Hell yea bro! Was a good time my friend! 🤘🤘
Looks like fun! I love snow wheeling here in North Idaho 🎉
Heck yeah man!! Looks like some killer snow 😍
Was definitely a rad time! We need some more trips like this!
What do you mean looks like, you were there 😂
Nothing like having a good time with your trucks! You guys are me and my friends in the 80's! Cheers!
Hell yea! Thanks man! 🤘
Baby voice is definitely different than my dog voice
🤣🤣 noted haha
Looks like a decent amount of snow! I need to get out more this winter!
It was a pretty good amount. Hoping to find some more deep stuff this weekend with the 1st gen tacoma
I run 6 psi in my Cherokee with Yokohama geolanders ats 33s on steel rims. Haven't been stuck yet in North Dakota snow. Missing this winter with a blown motor. Great video guys
I’m learning stuff!
That's good to hear!
Fun to see Tim out in the MP Taco Crawler!
1st gen did good! Stoked to see the taco bounce off the rev limiter, you guys are an Xmas tradition 🤣🤘🇨🇦👌
Haha he'll yea! Love living on the limiter lol
Crinkle sipe the center lugs, and you will get a lot more traction out of those patties. I did it to my 38's,and it was a noticeable gain.
I would like to groove the whole tire at some point but I spend to much time in the rocks and daily driving it. Maybe down the road if I get another set. Definitely helps a bunch in the snow though. Grooving is where it's at for the snow
Great day!
Yes!
Bro , where did you get a adapter or you have a video for put that transmission on a Chevy engine , I just bought a 6.0 and I’ll like to figure out, I’ll like to keep manual t ,
Don’t put a 6.0 behind a Toyota transmission. It won’t last long.
looks like fun
Most definitely was!
awesome! haven't got too much snow here in norcal yet, hoping for some this week.
are you still working on the comanche project?
Sadly not at the moment. We moved again and had to put the Comanche in storage for a bit. Sucks but it's life I suppose!
How does those pats work in the snow? Comparison to iroks or other tires?
Love the video man. You'd do so Much bettee on some interco IROK radials VS those patigonia MT's. The iroks are practically a snow compound rubber as well. Super soft.
Thanks. I've ran the iroks before and would take the pats over them any day of the week lol. But everyone has there preference
@@JustinTBraun oh, no kidding??? I perosonally haven't ran the patagonias. Interesting to hear that! Size definitely matters when it comes to snow wheeling tires and those pats do come in the large oddball sizes so that's nice. For us 15" wheel guys we have a limited selection for 37s and up
When’s the next snow wheelin trip? I wanna see if I can keep up with y’all
I'm thinking we might go out this weekend
That snow is as deep as the tires are tall 😮
Heck yea! 🤘
I noticed the Idaho plates, where about in Idaho you located? I’m in south eastern WA in the Tri-Cities, few buddies and I run Yota’s and Samurai’s and love to play in the snow when we can.
As a Texas boy I don’t get the appeal of constantly going forward and reverse for hours. Kind of like mudding without the mess lol. Still a cool rig tho
It's not always forward and reverse. Just happened to by more of that on this day.
How do you like that winch? Also I love the toy, I have an 83 that just eats in snow
I have a 2003 ford explorer xlt v8 4x4 raised 3 inches with snow tires i use for the winter months here in NH. 2 footers aint shyt for it goes right thru it no problems
Why am I now just seeing this channel??? It’s the yota that made me click on the video and really soon saw a familiar Taco… Max Powell old taco…😢 glad it went to a good home!
Because the TH-cam algorithm hates me 😭 lol. Yea tim bought it and is loving it!
So did you get to explore? It looks like you only went a few hundred yards...
how do you like the 4.3 swap? any major annoyances or things that are inconvenient or just things to keep in mind?
I would personally hate it lol. I will probably never put one in another vehicle. That's just my opinion though. They are just so gutless. And it will never last as long as the 3.4 does. 🤷♂️
@@JustinTBraun the one attractive thing about 4.3s was cheap and plentiful parts and on paper what sounds like good power but not sure its worth the trouble. I like my 3.4 4runner a lot and already have 2 r150s and a spare tcase in the shed so probably better to have a project vehicle that I can share my parts stash with
Where is this place at . Nice Rig
Northern Idaho
Thanks!
Why no tracks on your trucks instead of tires? Would hey around a lot better
What engine and transmission is in toyota
Chevy vortec 4.3, r150f
@@JustinTBraun right on thank you, have 82 with 22R blown up, trying to figure out what route I wanna go
Welcome! I would personally go with a 3.4 engine. The 3.4s are amazing and I never have issues with my others.
@@JustinTBraun I will check it out
I wouldn’t go below about 7 psi on non beadlocked wheels. You’ll pop beads like crazy if you aren’t careful
This is so far from true. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@JustinTBraun pretty true from my experience and everyone else around me. It’s fine if you keep the vehicle flat but if you are off camber you will in fact pop beads easier.
It's crazy how many people don't know to air down properly
Baby voice n dog voice slightly different lol
🤣🤣
100% different voice for my dogs
Haha for real! 🤣
What size are them patagonias I want to try them out since they made a revised version.
38s
Hi!great video!I have the same Toyota!can you tell me your email to ask you something?
