Dijonai is now taking the next step of being one of the best players in the W. Now, as a starter, she really showing everyone she can become a top two-way player like Betnijah Laney Hamilton. She played under Kim Mulkey and Tara Vanderdeer, so they definitely prepared her for the league.
I've always thought she could play and play well. In the WNBA unfortunately you have to sometimes wait your time for real playing time to start shining.
Agreed Quita. Dijonai has taken a quantum leap. She's in my running for most improved and I wouldn't be shocked if she makes the All-Star squad. And those clamps...she gave CC and Arike the blues. #seatbeltseason

She is a a good player. I watched a couple of interviews with her a couple of weeks ago, talking about her injury dealing with depression around the injury and how much she loves the game. Her defense and offense is very good and she can shoot. But casual BB fans don't have a clue. You have to have that formula and not just be a good shooter

Dijonai Carrington didn't get a lot of notoriety or was well known among fans and casual viewers in the W until opening game of the 2024 WNBA season when she was assigned to guard Caitlin Clark in her much anticipated WNBA debut game.

Really love watching her shine now as a starter..we only got glimpses before.
If you watched her last year you could see it was something there. She plays the game of basketball at a level so high the only person that's playing now I can compare her to is Russell Westbrook. She is on full go mode but under control at the same time. I love how hard she plays and how big she plays, you would think she is 6'5 and she's not. That Dawg in her made me a huge fan of hers 💯💪🏿💪🏿

@@alyssiab. Give me an example. Isn’t A’ja Wilson the bigot for saying that the main reason CC is popular because she’s white? Are all athletes responsible for what people online say, or just CC?
Huh? I don't get the connection? The media are asking Clark these silly questions. Wouldn't be surprised if she's tried of answering the same questions. Hopefully by next season they will give her a rest. Still don't understand the comparison with Reese but that often happens when talking about either player the other one has to be interjected into the conversation.
