@@ibroketheserver im not that sure about rodney going to the braille house and film clip , but i really hope jonny may gonna meet him one day, it's my dream too
I fell in love with skating because of Rodney, and growing up I just sort of fell and got into other thing. I found you watching an old almost video, you and this series renewed my love for skating
I'm really loving getting double the Giger content between this and the Braille videos lately. I gotta say I'm not even a big fan of skateboarding, but a huge fan of Johnny Giger. At least... I had all but forgotten about skateboarding for the past 20 years until TH-cam put Johnny under my nose and I was an instant fan. Please keep doing whatever you love, Johnny. You're a real inspiration of a good-hearted person who seeks excellence in himself and is willing to put in the effort to be his best self. Rockin.
I skated for around 15 years, 9 years ago I kind of drifted away from the sport, location, bad point in my life yada yada. Last Friday I was binge watching your videos and got so amped up I dug out my old board and started trying kickflips right in my gaming room (not much space), After about 30 mins I was able to land an ok kickflip (touched the couch on landing though). It felt really good to work at and land a trick (my muscles hurt alot for a couple days after). Thanks for inspiring me to get back on the board, I've really missed it some times.
After watching your videos for months, I’ve got to get back on a board again. You reignited my spark man, can’t thank you enough. Keep up the dope work.
Do i fucking know you? .. no. First of... pretty shit and proper asshole name dude. But to what you wrote nonetheless : I met Rodney a couple times over skateboarding. He is genuine hype and positive and pure awesome. There is no bad bone in him. But he is also a business person. He is owner of Almost Skateboards, part owner of dwindle. He might be hyped that people still struggling to do his tricks but he also is wondering why Giger is constantly putting his name in the title of his TH-cam videos to make money out of him instead of innovating himself. After all he lets his fan celebrate him as greater than Rodney himself
What really hold you back, was your left shoulder. You started to get better, when you stopped turning your shoulder in (looking at your tail). Good job. 👍
I am not even able to skateboard (I can inlineskate.. and I can push on a skateboard (and do this tic-toc-motion)), but I found one of Jonny's Vids in my feed, clicked it, and was at first (not gonna lie) a little weirded out by his mustache.. but then I learned to love this guy. I would love to learn more about skating, like how to proper skate myself, how to call a trick (e.g. seeing for myself a pop-shove-it into front manual, impossible out / without someone telling me its name), but lots of it looks the same for my untrained eye. Thanks for making such great vids.
Been watching your channel the last few weeks along with John Hill. I decided because of the nostalgia, even though I never really learned anything when I was 13-15 skating, to get myself a skateboard for my 28th birthday. Cause why not right? What could possibly go wrong?
Mayor congrats on this trick buddy. Been a fan for quite a while now and I'm going to purchase one of your decks for my little 3 year old daughter in the next couple of days. I haven't skated in about 15 years, but thanks to your content , I've really had the urge to get back on the deck again. Beste Grüße aus Hamburg City ;) Weiter so!
Sean Rowell ... the dude that is copying a legends tricks 20 years after he did them is the goat? Silly me. I thoughtcrimes be the greatest of all times you needed to be better than anybody else but I guess copying something somebody other did already but better is now considered to be the goat. Hence why older generations think that you are useless

maybe its skating style. maybe its the baggy pants. but Rodney seems to bend his back leg more and get a lot lower when he reaches for the finger flip. probably helps the jump. either way, you got it done. hard work rewarded.
He may be stoned, but he's smarter than me... hahaha I couldn't tell you prime numbers off the top of my head... I'd have to go through a checklist and write that shit down!! XD
I've noted a huge difference in my skateboarding vs Jhonny's. He always has to have his tricks perfect and clean and I was always just happy just to land anything. If I had worked on perfection I think I'd have much more consistency.
Jonny you really should try to meet rodney
Patrick R Yeah, such a great idea!
And then bring him to the Braille house :)

I was going to write the exact same thing !
THIS MUST HAPPEND !! =) (sorry if there's mistakes I'm not an english speaker)

The legendary stoned Chris Mcnugget. 😀
Cmon man ur here in the states for a bit now go hit up Rodney im sure itll happen

"No, we don't count them" I appreciate his perfectionist approach so very much. Especially since hes so consistently clean with almost whatever
Your skatepark has such a beautiful view to the mountains
Right mines in the hood😂

Best griptape art ive ever seen imo. Dragon of the west, doing what he does best. Sippin tea.
Sweet guess McNugget... thanks for the footage once again Jonny Giger!
McNug looks baked as hell😂 that's awesome
What a duo. Jhonny & Mcnugget should team up on a street run.
Now i know why mcnugget always wear sunglasses
what if....he skates so good because he's so high? (...me dived in deep existential thought...)
The MC is so humble nice to watch both of u great duuude! !!!!

what a beautiful landscape in the background, not like hot and humid West palm beach.
The mountains!
THE MOUNTAINS!!!!!
Such a beautiful park.. the mountain view is awesome
I always imagine Rodney watching you attempt these tricks on his phone, cheering you on. Sweet trick and well done on landing it!
Lee Weatherburn ,.. or he wonders why he is not making up his own tricks but is copying him from 20 years ago... trying to make money with his name

I really like how you learn tricks man, building on skills you already have to make the trick work, instead of just trying the trick until you get it.
5-0 to fingerflip varial...daaamn, that was the sweetest trick I have seen for a while! :O
I live in Utah surrounded by mountains but the view behind you is amazing
Persistent and dedicated effort as always, Jonny. Cool work, dude!
the view of those mountains is incredible

Hey I’m just wondering why you have a song from vevo in your impossible tricks of Rodney Mullen playlist
Giger said he went right into trying the trick, but he actually practiced first. I say give Nug the 10$
damn bro, you're skating with the Alps in the back ground?! all casual like lmao
What an awesome background!

So stoked McNugget is your guest. 🤘🏼I also like that you’re a big fan of Zelda.🤘🏼
In a 5-0 grind, does it matter if your tail scrapes ?
Angel García probably not but it looks cleaner without scraping forsure
Rodney Mullen = the best ever !.

360P SQUADD!
I thought i saw you filming something in the background of fetty trying to film that kick flip 5050.
Man, Johnny, I admire your patience.
My buddy does the same trick at the end of a "Rick McKrank" vid... about 12 year ago but I know he had a 3-flip version too. Lol.

Get Mullen in the next one of these tricks of his videos :)
What?
Jonny Giger is evolving !

what size board do you ride??
A game of skate between you and Rodney would be legendary. Keep kicking a$$ dude!
Oh shit I go to school in Santa Barbara, this is awesome :D
How long are you in San Francisco?
There's NBD. There should also be ODBM - Only Done By Mullen. And ODBMAG - Only Done By Mullen And Giger.
True😂
U give me courage to keep going
