Khmer street food to us in America is bok lahong, grilled chicken, stuffed chicken, beefsticks, lao sausages, sticky rice, pickled veggies, some fried food. We have a park in Philadelphia and there’s one in California that sells strictly southeast Asian street food.

My mouth is watery right now from watching that large snails your eating Pat. I can eat snail still but not the cricket or larvae 🐛. Crabs and snail is good. I’m hoping to go next year to Cambodia, making my passport soon hehe

I am indigenous Montagnard Jarai Central Highland what they called today Central highland VN ,we have Jarai indigenous Ratanakiri Northeast Cambodia we speaks the same language same culture. I like Khmer food also I like Khmer they are friendly
when i was little i didnt like snail too. then i realized if you cook the fresh one its more tender than the frozen one and more taste. still, there's isnt much dish that used it much. now im craving for it
Would think you are Cambodian if I hadn't seen what you look like. One video cannot cover the plethora of amazing Cambodian dishes. From meat to chicken to seafood. Everything is done with spices and a mix of sweet, sour, salty and savory of some sort. Love it.
