I'm a Warhammer fan, painter, and player. Warhammer was Water Slide decals, too. They're slowly being phased out, though. So the resell value is going up. But, seeing you talk about the water slides that come with this, I suddenly have the POWERFUL urge to but a Zoid and paint it in the default red, gold, black scheme of the Adeptus Mechanicus and use a couple of my unused water slide sheets instead of the Zoids sheets. I've never used any of my water slides, I have like a dozen sheets from various Warhammer factions, but now I wanna use them!
Mann I'm always trying to make use of my spare decals, and the zoids kits really have that shelf presensce! They're a little pricy, but I really feel like you can't go wrong with any of them
@@rynzero_I'm just worried that I'll mess up alignment with the water slides. And being unemployed, seeing those resell prices go from 2usd to 7usd in just the last 4-5 months since Games Workshop has stopped including them in some kit boxes, I kind of don't want to use them now, ever. They have said nothing about doing it, nor that they plan to introduce new ones. I just recently paid more attention to Zoids and learned they have gundam-like model kits and I really want some now. Hopefully I find a job soon and can nab a few.
You should invest in some micro set and micro sol. They help a lot with decals and make the look more painted on. For how cheap it is, it’s definitely one of the better investments I’ve made.
I bought mine at NY Comic Con this year. First Zoid I've ever built. Now I need to learn how to start painting them!
You are always more than welcome to message me on Instagram or reddit should you need any pointers!
