when you learn to dodge that obscenely brutal vegetable-slicing strike, it actually becomes easier, but up until this point, you've probably fallen asleep hearing her voice in your head saying "I am Malenia, blade of Miquella" for the third or fourth day in a row.
@@korben7712 took me around 8 hours the first time with dex build, didn’t sleep that night. But build with 70+poise and defense talisman seems like really good strategy against that one move.
@@DazHotep6EQUJ5 He has much faster attacks and he’s also much more aggressive so it’s harder with slow weapons and he’s also incredibly resistant to holy damage unlike malenia here
@Flowtekk7 Right bro my first playthrough was with eleonoras poleblade and that weapon depends entirely on its multi hits and radagons hitbox is fucking awful so it made the build up take forever. Combine that with his aoe attacks and it was brutal😂
She is just like Lady Maria from Bloodborne. But of course this one gives you plague in her second form and in her first form heals like Hunters who recover the health based on the damage they dealt to the enemy. Giving her great rewards for agression. Well I have not played this game. You can time her attacks and use potion/rings/talisman for resistance for the plague. Basically, you need to get good here and not use your built to brute force it. But you didn't just had talent, also prepared well to stomp her with your built. The real intelligent built was you.
@@muhammadabuzarkhan7450 Well it’s an rpg, it’s kinda stupid to play the whole game with one greatsword and expect to have easy run the whole game while refusing to utilise game mechanics. That’s why I love elden ring the most from fromsoftware games. Every boss has certain weakness and the game gives you numerous options how to deal with each and every one of them.
@ Well the option it gives you mean it is the real successor to Dark Souls as it combine RPG with Demon's Souls mechanic properly. That was the whole Souls genre about. But I preferred Bloodbourne bit more because it forces to fight with a specific rule set that didn't existed in Dark Souls where you have more freedom. The experience I got from Bloodbourne felt more amazing because you actually have to get good at fighting with a style against many bosses. Orphan of Kos could tank and had great poise and aggression. Thus making it hard to be aggressive toward him all the time and some of his move could not be nullified as less talisman existed in Bloodbourne compare to SoulsRing. Meanwhile, in Maria you have to be aggressive because how she have lunging attacks and long range attack that cover the distance. Meanwhile, Laurance was simply had small opening and require us to time everything from dodges to attack. In the end, it's just suggestive and boil down to your taste.

Only took me a handful of tries to beat her. Radagon gave me way more trouble.

Dang what weapon is that? I 100%ed Bloodborne and DS3 but life got real hectic after Elden Ring dropped and never got to finish it.
