yup, i know the feeling, i played search and destroy today thinking i could ninja defuse, me thinking im being sneaky on the OBJ with the enemy's back turned towards me, until my character yells "ENEMY SPOTTED!!!!" to which he turned to me and gunned me down....so i learned a trick, to use my ears for when they plant with my camera towards the wall, and sure enough it worked, my point is, ninja defusing still works, but its very difficult with your character revealing your location
in all honesty I don't even camp unless I'm trapped and cornered in a room but other than that I really enjoy this game but god damn the maps are dogshit
Basically long time cod players get ultra asshurt about being flanked and the current maps are very conducive to evasive flanking play styles. Personally I'm having a fucking ball with it because people don't watch their flanks.

I’ve yet to survive one myself, but I heard that having everyone play medic helps. I’ve yet to try it, but on paper it sounds like a good way to compensate for the horde of enemies.

You can still run and gun in this game. I’m sitting at a constant 3.3-3.5 KDR and refuse to camp. I don’t get that argument. It’s harder, sure, but that just makes it more fun.
The biggest complaint i have is the pacing of combat in the campaign was awesome, and i dont like how its sped up to please the "run and gun only" speds
I think when people say they want realism in video games they just mean they want less glitches and bugs as well as prettier graphics. Games are supposed to suspend our disbelief's to some extent but not the point of annoyance.

Modern Warfare feels balanced and it has a ton of replay value. With games like BO3 and BO4 I would play like 3 games and get sick of the boring ass maps because they’re all the same. I'm thinking people think it's too much because of their FOV (objects in mirror closer than they appear). I do think it's a little much for hardcore. I think back in CoD 4, hardcore changed player health to 30%. Fall damage in that game was pretty much binary.

tbh the "3 lanes" style map has been overused by the previous cod game and seeing new style of map for call of duty is a fresh thing personally for me. people need to know that maps like that are "indeed" raising a camping rate but that means it teach you, the players to be more cautious with the surrounding and I've been doing this since playing open wide games like battlefield and insurgency and rising storm.

This is my number one thing right now, seems like I can get halfway through the scramblers on Headhunter before my team is wiped. I think they need to tweak the spawns or something as it seems like we clear a cluster and then another appears to shoot us in the back.

People complain about generic three lane maps that have no variety, power positions, or lack of interactive details. Then when we do get dynamic maps with variety, power positions, and interactive details LIKE THE GOOD DAYS OF COD...people still complain. These maps remind me of MW2 or World At War and I’ve played the hell out of those games and still always had a blast regardless of those games being camper friendly and I can say the same for this game because it’s just something to adapt to. Maybe it’s just the fact that this is a new generation of younger gamers that are just use to simplicity.
I strongly doubt that. The only thing that could band-aid the map issues is fixing the spawn logic, the maps themselves feel too random and promote a stop and go gameplay style. I'd be better off playing PUBG if I wanted that type of experience.
To me the game doing great I hope they don't ass superhero skins or glowing skins or a bright maps or specials for your character. SuperTopCat I usually hate aim assist but I like it in this game, it’s not like it snaps to enemies when you’re not even looking in the right direction. It’s just enough to remove the twitchiness playing with a controller. That said a gamemode with no aim assist (maybe in Realism mode someday?) would be pretty awesome

They designed the maps in order to “make the player feel safe” and to not make it easy for the newer players to get shit on. I personally love the game and think it's one of the best CoD's ever released. The only thing that drives me completely insane is the overwhelmingly loud killstreaks/choppers. My ears get blasted and the volume really irritates me. The killstreak sounds basically take over the whole game volume and you can't hear anything but jets flying passed... Kinda over the top imo
3:15 I like the DESIGN of the menus, but they are quite messy with "new stuff in here"; especially because I play Gunfight and have gotten attachments for guns I've yet to unlock.
They had the ping system in the beta. They should bring that back. No idea in hell why they would have this automatic system where they just say contact, letting the enemy hear it as well.

enemy player: can hear footstaps of everyone nearby friendly and enemy, because of this he has no clue where i am because there is always footstaps everywhere.
conslusion: deadly silence is only really usefull if your trying to hunt snipers and other enemys in areas where there are not many other players.
i use it mainly to move faster

tbh the "3 lanes" style map has been overused by the previous cod game and seeing new style of map for call of duty is a fresh thing personally for me. people need to know that maps like that are "indeed" raising a camping rate but that means it teach you, the players to be more cautious with the surrounding and I've been doing this since playing open wide games like battlefield and insurgency and rising storm.
To be fair, Euphrates is the most hated, and its basically a 3 lane map.

This is my number one thing right now, seems like I can get halfway through the scramblers on Headhunter before my team is wiped. I think they need to tweak the spawns or something as it seems like we clear a cluster and then another appears to shoot us in the back.

I think that’s what’s throwing everyone off with it. You can’t just jump in and play, you pretty much NEED to get a group together and be super tactical
Darius Smith I prefer the older games Campaigns and Zombies maps, but Ricochet TDM on Headquarters is the purest form of quick Call of Duty gameplay I've seen.
I like how hard they are but what you get for beating them is terrible they need a huge reward buff and maybe a lower difficulty mode for people who are solo or have trouble

People complain about generic three lane maps that have no variety, power positions, or lack of interactive details. Then when we do get dynamic maps with variety, power positions, and interactive details LIKE THE GOOD DAYS OF COD...people still complain. These maps remind me of MW2 or World At War and I’ve played the hell out of those games and still always had a blast regardless of those games being camper friendly and I can say the same for this game because it’s just something to adapt to. Maybe it’s just the fact that this is a new generation of younger gamers that are just use to simplicity.
So in short, the same as back in 2011? The maps hate wil fade as people get more used to it.
I strongly doubt that. The only thing that could band-aid the map issues is fixing the spawn logic, the maps themselves feel too random and promote a stop and go gameplay style. I'd be better off playing PUBG if I wanted that type of experience.

After a couple of days everyone seems to know how the maps are supposed to be played. Real experts everywhere.
I swear they updated the maps after like a day or so as well. Now there's new doors, and objects in certain areas where I swear there wasn't before.

@@Xiox321 That's what I thought. But there's a wooden door on St. Petrograd near the objective (if you play cyber attack) that you can't shoot through for example. Maybe that's a bug though.

SuperTopCat I usually hate aim assist but I like it in this game, it’s not like it snaps to enemies when you’re not even looking in the right direction. It’s just enough to remove the twitchiness playing with a controller. That said a gamemode with no aim assist (maybe in Realism mode someday?) would be pretty awesome
yeah but the problem is that even the devs admitted to catering to the new players by making the game the way it is. They designed the maps in order to “make the player feel safe” and to not make it easy for the newer players to get shit on. What you’re saying has stayed true to most call of duty’s but the only way you’re doing good is by playing like scared noob and camping

That's one of the few maps I actually like because it's more simple. At least for domination.
I don't play TDM but on domination just use smoke grenades and the map is bearable. I can't stand the London map with the buses though in any mode.
That bridge map is a pain in the ass.... Especially when your playing with stupid teammates. I think they should implement a way you can point out an enemy for your team.

I personally love the game and think it's one of the best CoD's ever released. The only thing that drives me completely insane is the overwhelmingly loud killstreaks/choppers. My ears get blasted and the volume really irritates me. The killstreak sounds basically take over the whole game volume and you can't hear anything but jets flying passed... Kinda over the top imo
