I love when you do RPG/OSR module reviews. I’m always searching for idea mines and flavor for my campaigns. Your last few (Stygian Library, Willoughby Hall, and Genial Jack) are golden!
Yes!! I was SO curious to know if you even followed Bearded Devil and I couldn't be happier to see your review of his work. He needs WAY more exposure than he has and I'm glad he's getting some well earned publicity here today.
This one had been on my DTRPG wish list already. It’s now a higher priority. I think I said to myself, “This is like Bas-Lag,” about 10 seconds before you mentioned it.
Thank you You are really a source of precious materials The is more creativity in one of these modules/games than in 5 years of dnd5e (oh well, considering that 5e never had original ideas, that does not sound like much of a compliment, but you know what i mean) And a huge thank you to all the creators whose work you review
Hey Ben I was wondering if there where any good write ups of Dungeon Crawls out there. Like I want to read a blog detailing a parties crawl through a dungeon but everything is just "how to run" and not "this was our run"
See now I'm picturing a planescape or maybe spell jammer campaign starting off by being eaten by Geniel Jack as he swims through several different planes.
Too early and uncaffeinated: did NOT read that as "genial", and had bad flashbacks to the guy who once joined my table and his fighter got aroused every time we rolled for initiative. Thanks for dredging that up. LOL
Hey Questing Beast, love your stuff! Could you please do a review of whitehack 3e? I don't think whitehack gets enough attention and it'd be awesome if we got a lowdown from the best, you! Thanks :)

(is relieved that this is QB's usual high-quality review video)

Yeah his setting is probably my favorite D&D setting I have ever read, tbh. I like it more than my own home-brew stuff or the WOTC stuff.
Going to pick these up. 'Perdido Street Station' and 'The Scar' are books I read once a year to keep my imagination topped up.
Is Iron Council any good?
@@Smittumi I have Iron Council, it's a different 'feel' to the former two books even though it shares the setting. Still worth a read, I'd say.

Bearded Devil is so great.
Looks amazing. And thank you for the book recommendation. Perdido street station. Bought the audiobook 👍
Thank you

Great video! Also I'm a proud owner of your book. It's amazing and I'll be using it in my next campaign. Can't wait to see what you make next!
This looks really fun, I just need to figure out how to work this into a campaign.
I kid you not, yesterday I was wandering how it was that no one had the idea of creating a dungeon inside a whale, Jonas style... yet.
Oh cool! I didn't know #2 was out! :D #1 was great!
Amazing setting.
Thank you for introducing me to the Bearded-Devil blog. It’s amazing.

I never paid much attention to formatting until watching your videos. Now I'm very mindful and... aggravated.
I just got Willowby Hall in the mail and it is gorgeous! *honk*
Sounds like a perfect setting to Pirate Borg
