This was a great game for the 32x. It blows away Virtua fighter 2 on the Genesis.
I also enjoyed star wars arcade, doom, WWF wrestlemania the arcade game, mortal Kombat 2, and NBA jam TE on the 32x.

I'm a SNES guy but yes, WITH FIGHTERS, the Genesis 6 Button is god tier

To be honest with the Sega 32X, they should've went the SNES Super FX chip route instead of an add-on. Other than that, this is an impressive port of Virtual Fighter.

the 32x was a fair bit beefier than the Super FX chip to be honest. Also, SEGA did go down that route. Check out Virtua Racing for the Genesis...it uses the SVP chip and runs on a stock Genesis...it's essentially SEGA's take on the Super FX chip. And it looks far more downgraded when compared to the eventual 32X version of VR.

The six button sega game pad controller, is the way to go for fighting games, especially if you're playing Street Fighter. Also I agree, VF5 US despite being based on VF5 FS, was a blessing this year.

There were plans to make an Aliens vs. Predator (Capcom's arcade game) port but they got scrapped because 32X bombed.

They should try playing Mortal Kombat 2 on the 32X. Just like Virtua Fighter here, it was a great arcade port.

Between watching this video and the street fighter alpha 2 snes 2021 video , I think everybody forgot about the ascii fightpad for super nes that has the oct floating d pad and the 6 button spread . There’s also the Capcom soldier for snes but the ascii fight pad on Super Nintendo has that Saturn / six button Genesis feel
