After the gaggery of Glue, I am excited to see the reaction of 'Dolls', that is my favorite one from them, the choreo is so fun and girly and I love every second of it.

As far as I remember the company emphasized the facts that all girls are all supermodel worthy being very tall (obviously having the longest legs out of all female idols back then) and having absolutely mind-blowing looks. Hence the focus on their legs)) You should absolutely watch the dance practices too! Especially Figaro one. Their dancing is always so sharp and in sync, and they are dancing in heels to top it all!

During drama - sleepless night there were 2 additional members which keumjo as main vocalist and sojin as main dancer and during these era, sera, Lee Sam and eunji were left the group. Despite of keep changing member, this group improvement was appreciated.
The thing about the 9muses member count, most of the time when a member left another member would be added. So in different videos you see some different lineups and people kinda seperate it into a couple of main groups! so in hurt locker theres 8 but 2 of the members are new because 3 left previously!
The 3 like " main " line ups you could call it that had the most releases are the 2013 lineup, the 2015 lineup and then the final 4 before disbandment. Theres some other changes through out but they can be grouped together pretty well

Sweetune is the production team behind most of their hits as well as Kara's and Infinite's, and they are really masters of vocal layering. We don't seem to get a lot of that anymore, refrains have largely become just one person singing as time has gone on.
I love 9Muses, but Sera was always my bias, and the company hated her so much D: You notice when she's singing, they often cut to the other members mouthing her lyrics instead, and they always cut away from her scenes really quickly when she's in the center. And I don't mean this in the typical kpop "the company hates my favs!" thing, it was legit, and she was forced out of the group because of company mistreatment and bullying. They hated her for standing up for the other girls. She used to be in the leader position but was demoted before eventually being kicked.
I found the group in late 2013 and Ryu Sera quickly became my bias, but then she was gone shortly after that. It's been hard to listen to her talk about her mental and health problems since 2020. That's when I found out she had a YT channel and was watching Queendom during the first season. I like to check out her covers and collaborations just to see if she is doing okay. She's just an amazing person in spite of everything. I had a hard time figuring out any of the other members because of all the changes in members. One of my top 5 groups.
10:11 looks like a model? Well... they ARE actual models before (and back after disbandment) and some of them are quite well-known in model industry. This group concept is model-idol which make certain models into idols. 9muses were all actually models before debuting. The girl with silver in news that u paused during News and also in Figaro as the one you like is the tallest female idol of all time , Leesem. You also noticed her quite a few times in the other mvs. She was the rapper in No playboy , News and then a singer for the rest of the mvs!

At the time of forming the group, a video was being filmed that should have been about the group's success, but it turned out otherwise. In the end it was a documentary about everything that is wrong with kpop. The leader ended up leaving the group, almost losing her mind, due to the excessive pressure she received. Other members also left abruptly due to the treatment, demands and the little money they received. The group is now officially disbanded, but there remains only one Muse active musically now, which is Gyeong Ree.

@@jeffreystone22 9 Muses must be one of the groups that had the most chaotic development in their career. Even Gfriend said that 9 Muses were one of his favorite groups and an example to follow. This demonstrates the impact the group had with their performances and their work on stage. It is a shame what several of the girls had to suffer, but it is also a comfort to know that several of them are rebuilding their lives. Greetings.

What's interesting about 9muses' vocals is that they've always had unique voices. Especially Rana, Euaerin, Hyemi, Kyungri and Sojin.
