  • This video shows a complete overhaul of the Isuzu 4JA1 engine - from start to finish. The Isuzu 4JA1 engine is a popular engine used in many small trucks and SUVs. In this video, we go through the entire process of rebuilding the engine, step by step.
    We begin by removing the engine from the vehicle and disassembling it. We then clean each component thoroughly before inspecting it for damage. If we find any damaged parts, we replace them with new ones.
    Once all the parts have been cleaned and inspected, we start reassembling the engine. We replace all the gaskets and install new bearings and pistons. We also replace the oil pump and timing belt as well as all the other components that make up the engine.
    Finally, we install the refurbished engine back into the vehicle and test it to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
    If you're interested in engines or are thinking of rebuilding an Isuzu 4JA1 engine, this video is a great place to start. We cover everything you need to know to do the job properly, and we offer tips and advice that will help you get the best results possible.
    So sit back, relax, and enjoy this comprehensive guide to rebuilding the Isuzu 4JA1 engine - from start to finish

    when you start to torque a cylinder head start in the center and work your way out in a circular motion. go in 3 stages. 1st just snug. Second about half way tight. Third, Final tightness. Great job!

      A long time ago when i used to race stock cars my engine blew in practice and I sent my brother back home to get my spare, while he was gone me and some friends used the pipe that was used to hold my spare tires in on my spare tire rack to pull the blown up one out and to put in a 400 cubic inch small block Chevrolet. Very heavy , with the clutch and bellhousing on it .3 men on each end. " Do whatever it takes and make the best of what you have" You men are Awesome! Keep it up! sincerely, a big fan from the United States"

    The only thing these guys do us get the engine to run again. But the amount of sand/soil particles in the bearings and sleeves😮. The guy literally picked the oil ring straight from the dirt!! There is no way this engine sees 2000ks before catastrophic failiure.
    I feel sorry for the vehicle owner..

    I know the mileage on it I know it had to say big numbers. But I’m sorry but all that dust and that dirty. That just a bad problem for the engine to catch fire.

    Good work,but you should increase the safety standard of your workstation .
    No safety boots ,using a prise as a hammer.no toque range ,no internal and no external micrometer to check the cylinders over run and cylinder and piston concentricity.

    • @Africanmechanics
      @Africanmechanics  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We will consider all that next time
