What At Bunch Ya Got There Nick! Great Fish, Nice Color! I've Got My Walking Papers, Soon As I Get My Transportation Built, I'm South-Bound! Heading Back To My Old Play-Ground In The Keys, To Meet & See ALL The Changes That Have Occurred In Over 4 Decades...
Im jealous Nick. Not because of the pumpkin swordfish but because of your outdoor garden. That's just not fair lol. We had about 3" of fresh snow when we woke up this morning. I can't wait until time to start our garden.
Nice catch mate... I applaud all the hard work and talent in boating a sword like that... But how long do you think that would take to land on conventional gear... Not having a dig... Just curious 🤷♂️🤷♂️
A really good angler with strength, stamina, and proper technique can honestly catch a fish faster a lot of times than electric because they can use their body to work the rod and feel what the fishing is doing. In the rod holder with the electric we are waiting for the boat to rock most the time and only the rod is working with us applying extra pressure on the line near the spool. A person can lean a little further both on the downside and upside of waves and when pumping a fish, getting more line when the fish gives it. But it is difficult for most people (myself included) , to stand up fish with heavy tackle for swordfish in the day time while dropping 1600 down in the Gulf Stream
I love those intros. Just wish they were a little longer. To me that Freeman is the star of the show. Hardly any bow rise at all when you plane off. Did not know that Grunden makes foul weather gear that looks that nice. Those steaks looked amazing. Never eaten Swordfish. I can only imagine how good it must be.
Heading down to the Keys for the first time this coming Friday. Hope to stop by and see what you all bring in. When is the best time to come by and see you or the other boats coming in?
Omg!!! Another monster! Wow amazing Nick! Brilliant! Soooo exciting! Great video, good stuff, hope the wife and girls are well, God bless, looking forward to your next video
Congratulations on the successful harvesting that beautifully colored Sword from a epic four hour fight. It was easy to tell, at your first cut, this Sword has the best textured (fat content) and deepest colored (favor) you have landed in some time. Wow, Sarah not only had to remove the fork from your hand she nestled her plate for protection. LOL
awesome fish, we dont get these "pumpkin" fish in aus, well i haven't seen, has there been a study on why the flesh turns orange? is a it a particular food they are eating? Alot of the big swords in NZ, they feed on the blunose and hoki, its so interesting!
Just love your fishing and aligater catch clean and cook. Captian Nick please don't stop making these videos and cook off between Jamaica Mike and Bean. Of course Captian Sarah crabbing and crayfishing videos a must. Has the Bean started a channel yet. If not get Sarah to kick his behind in gear. Say hi to Sadie and Claire. Blessing Stanzfam. Amen
Love watching your video's from Perth Australia and I am an avid follower. Any chance you could do a video that shows what reels, line and how you rig up to catch the mighty swords?
Stanz has some mad skills controlling that boat that fish is impressive but they would have lost it if it wasn't for positioning of the boat nice congrats on the catch.
We are moving down in the next couple of years to central Florida and my plan is to get down your way after. Visited the keys 35 years ago and it was a blast again!
Hey Nick, get some keylime wine and marinate your sword steaks in it for 30 min then brush with olive oil and grill. Margarita flavored swordfish. You can thank me later
Man I need to come down one day and hang out at Bud and Mary`s to see if I can meet you and maybe get a piece of fish . And meet Crazy Mike he sounds like someone cool to get to now ,
Come on Nick it's time for you to make that dock about 3-4 feet wide or unload the fish off the front of the boat then turn your boat and back it in I know that's just for showing off those quads
I loved how in the end Jamaican Mike came in to the show. I came down sword fishing last august back when chase was running the water damage. Nothing that day, just a big pomfret on the last drop of the day. I hope to fish with you Capt Nick one day!! PS Jamaican Mike replied to a comment of mine from his new TH-cam channel, it felt soooo cool!! Everyone who's reading this comment, please go subscribe to Jamaican mike's new channel!
Man that was great. We would love to cook one of those up. I’m sure a swordfish trip is very expensive. Maybe we can set something up or split a trip with some friends
@@50shadesofblue24 we called the shop a few months back and there was a availability that worked for us after trying to get off work the boss said I had to take an additional 2 weeks off when I got back without pay so that went down the tubes quick F COVID

great videos nick. Can we see more wahoo and other pelagics??
Most of my charters focus on swordfish but if I get some time to film for myself I will definitely try to mix it up

Hi Nick. Love your River table. What kind of wood is it made from?
Costa Rican monkey pod is what they called the wood
Now that is just amazing.

Just curious are you concerned with the Mercury content in those swords. Supposedly they have a very high content.
Who can possibly dislike this video......????
Nick, you need to play the theme from Top Gun at the start of your clip when your boat is coming up to speed!
You don’t need Luck you have the ability! GOD bless!

What is the water temp way down where the sword fish are, July vs February
We fish them near the bottom so I assume it’s in the low 40’s down there.

Exotic live edge is the company I believe
