I got to test drive the 2017 ford everest at this year's Manila International Auto Show. Here's a semi raw video of me test driving the vehicle
This is also a demo of some of the more advanced features of the titianium model.
The vehicle can parallel park itself, only requiring brake input from the driver.
Active noise reduction: The vehicle uses technology similar to noise cancelling headphones. It emits sound through its speakers which cancel or minimize sound coming from the outside
The vehicle also has active lane assist.

wow! specs are d best among its class. feels so light on d steering. suspension s great, sensors all over. love it!!!
Wow!!! What a cool car!!!
Was impressed by the interior and all it's tech features, including the electronic tailgate and 3rd row seats....but got the Montero GT just the same....was just more value for money including overall handling and engine specs. Eventually, for anything electronic...something has to give sooner or later. It would be my choice as a weekend vehicle for out of town trips....reliability and durability was my main concern if used as a daily driver.

sir @jaywalkur, when it comes to ride comfort (suspension), interior & reliability/durability, which would you recommend.. ford everest titanium (not premium package), mitsubushi montero sport gls premium, or nissan terra VL?
In terms of comfort, the Everest is the winner for me. Interior quality: I like the everest's leather covered dashboard. I can't comment on reliability yet though because these cars are still relatively new. I'll be posting a video comparing all the major mis-size suvs this month. watch out for it

With the 2.2 Diesel 4x2 variant, what's the fuel consumption like with such a heavy vehicle?. That is, how many litres per 100 Kilometers? around town can you expect and, what is the cost of diesel per litre there?. Here in Australia, it's selling for $1.36.9 where I am. My wife and I are making the move to the Philippines sometime next year, and after reviewing so many models near the 2 million peso range, the 2018 Ford Everest 2.2 diesel, 4x2 Titanium model with the premium package, represents excellent value for money...
Currently gasoline hovers at around 47 pesos per liter and diesel at around 34-37 per liter. So diesel Vehicles make a lot of sense here. On top of that it does about 14-15kpl or 6L per 100km which is very fuel efficient even compared to subcompact gasoline cars
*Jaywalkur* Thank you for such a prompt reply. 6L per 100km is truly amazing from a vehicle weighing I'm told, just on 2 tons. My petrol 2.0 litre 2013 Nissan ST X-Trail with CVT, always sits around 8 to 9L per 100km. The noise cancelling "thingy" in the Everest is a clever piece of kit and one of the reasons that attracts me to it. The tyre noise on bitumen roads in the X-Trail is not unlike the subdued roar of a of 737 aircraft at cruising altitude. It's not so loud that it stifles conversation, but you're always aware of it. A passenger could close their eyes and imagine that they're in an aircraft, the sound is so alike. Thanks again for the information, I truly appreciate it. Cheers...

The problem is thailand manufacture low quality about tie rods and under chassis
Grocery shopping would be complete in the time it takes that thing to park.
I still prefer manual parking.

Auto parking is from German cars, not a big issue, when your in hurry, you can’t use this features! Useless! My main question is is ford reliable? The engine and built quality?

Chevrolet trailblazer gives you 5years 100,000 And bigger space
Everest feels very luxurious compared to the montero and the fortuner. Even the door panels feels heavier and the leather and plastic trimmings are far luxurious and more durable
