My nose was broken 42 years ago and it doesn’t lean or distort in any way. I was told I needed my nose chiselled at the back of my nose and that’s where my nose is causing obstruction and I have obstructive sleep apnea. My hospital won’t give me a new machine and mines still on re call so now I don’t have a machine. My hospital have refused to give me a new machine. My MP tried to help but got no where. I’ve tried to get on your list so you can have a look to see where my obstruction is as I’ve not been told. My hospital is useless so I will buy myself a new machine in about a month. Still hoping to see you at Queen’s though.
Good video! Had 1 side of nose kinda caved in last year and the ENT Dr in the U.S. used nasal elevator (metal rod) to pop out the bone under local anesthesia in clinic. Was lucky to get in around day 9 or 10.
First again dr Veer! You still haven’t caught me out Wanted to comment first before I watch it but I’m sure it’ll be super interesting as always! Thanks
That's a good point - remember to look up your nose (or your child's nose) and if you see a deep red swelling blocking both sides after a fracture - you may have a septal haematoma. it looks like a cherry up the nose. it needs to be drained in hospital asap - within 48 hours
Please doctor question about tinnitus, does the room need to be quiet of tv and loud AC to train the brain to listen to something else ? I watched your video . Are you saying silence trains the brain ? And to read instead so the brain gets used to silence ? My AC is loud , I also have TMJ on that side
Its a request to you doctor please tell if having osa sleep apnoea around 7 then what foods to have and what not also dos n donts to cure or recover fastee . Its a request sir please🙏
Hello Dr. Veer! Have you ever done a tenotomy of the middle ear tendons? (musculus tensor tympani and musculus stapedius) im considering it for a disease called "Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome". If so, i would really like to discuss a few things with you before having it done. Greetings from germany and thank you for all the interesting video-content!
Broke my nose by accidentally head butting a door. I was watching Demolition Man on TV and got up to get something, turned around at full speed and the flat edge of the door was right there 🤦🏼♀️. Absolutely no pain whatsoever at first, but absolutely poured with blood. Had two black eyes and was in a lot of pain the next day. I had the local anaesthetic and the doctor manipulated it back my hand. I don’t know anything about nose anatomy but it’s never looked the same since, I can breathe just fine (thankfully) but I have a massive bump on the bridge. Moral of the story? Don’t watch Demolition Man…

Thank you, very informative. Never had one and hope to avoid in the future. Have a great day.
Thanks for watching!
2 weeks? On the NHS presently?
In some regions it is 2 years.
No this would be classified as an emergency

You rock!
Useful information in case this ever happens. Thank you.
Remember that if the child can't breathe, perhaps he has a septum bruise
