Clarence Thomas CAN be impeached, convicted, then removed by Congress -- but I doubt it will happen. The last time a Supreme Court justice was impeached, was in 1805, but he was NOT removed from office, because he (Samuel Chase) was acquitted in the Senate.
He should be impeached. He’s the only Supreme Court judge to try to bar getting Jan 6 evidence from the national archives.

It's hard to believe Clarence Thomas sits on the supreme court, as he had less than one year of experience as a judge when he was nominated. Compare that to Ketanji Brown Jackson, who has been a judge in every way possible... defense lawyer, prosecutor, appeals judge, etc. In fact, she has the most experience compared to any judge on the supreme court. It's remarkable how the GOP seems to find the least qualified people for the most important jobs in government.

In France which is a civil code system a judge is more like a police detective but America inherited the common law system from the U.K.

Yes, there have been proven fraudulent voters caught, but they have been Republicans.
The reduction to all issues having occurred being fraud is really counter to the interests of American citizens. There were very real and very serious problems with the election process in 2020 due to things like: no signature match (or a signature match with such lax standards that it effectively didnt exist), ballot harvesting, improper chain of command for ballots (people bringing them in from other locations in extremely unsecured way), barring observers from watching the country win states where that is not legal, telling observers you are going to stop them continuing once they have left, denying count observers entry and many other things. Dont get me wrong I make no claims about if these things changed any result, but I just think pretending they didn't happen and instead just saying "there was no fraud" is foolish. People need to have confidence in elections and those things don't inspire confidence.

Actually "likely a crime" means that is the threshold or floor for whatever the judge was deciding. In jury trials the judge makes rulings on law or procedure not on facts. The jury decides whether a crime took place and whether they are guilty. A judge is more like a referee than a player. In France which is a civil code system a judge is more like a police detective but America inherited the common law system from the U.K.
