The housing market has gone through a lot of change recently, and much of that was a result of how quickly mortgage rates rose last year.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the home, but the first few seconds at a home I wouldn’t buy it. All that brick work is painted white. It needs to be cleaned off. I’ve been a bricklayer for more than 30 years you never ever ever ever ever paint brickwork. Think of brickwork as a living entity that needs to breathe and ages nicely overtime. The only thing that should be done to brickwork is after 30 to 40 years or so you re-point your building this helps protect your brickwork from the weather in elements. By painting the brickwork, you give it curb appeal for sure however, paint will trap moisture in there the issues this causes is dampness in your home. You will eventually grow mold like Aspergillus, Black mold and others. By trapping moisture in the brickwork, you can cause it to fracture split crack, and even spall as the weather gets cold, and the brick freezes the water expands doing damage to your external brickwork.. so yes, painting a house is the one of the stupidest thing you can do.

@@TimothyPLivingston You're looking for insight on painted brickwork well here it is in order to make your house a non-biohazard The paintwork has to be removed. If you're a person who has a home that is painted the paintwork has to be removed and I'm telling you from my experience this takes a long time and is very expensive. So if you're shopping for a home and you see it is painted my recommendation is to walk away or be willing to spend a great deal of money to fix it.

On pocket doors you should be able to push the top of the latch and the bottom will come out with a hook to pull the door. That's why they don't have enough room to stick your fingers in the wall!

This home is flat out STUNNING! I would totally have to add some soound buffers along the ceiling though - those echoes would drive me batty lol.
When you showed the door in the back of the closet i thought - Narnia! Then thought how it would make the perfect safe room incase of a home invasion. Just add a fake wall panel and latch instead of a door .

  • @marcijohnson9923

The room at the front of the house upstairs is not a bedroom as it has no closet and the house is listed as a 5 bedroom (2 downstairs and the 3 en-suites upstairs) so that front room is not counted in the bedroom count. It could be used for a homework room for the children. We had a "kids" office in our last house, and with 4 kids it got lots of use. They loved it and so did we, they could work on projects there and close the door to hide the mess that goes along with school projects. Note: if you could find out who the interior designers are of some of your homes that would be awesome, some may sponsor your videos just to draw attention to their craft.

Maybe if you won a multibillion dollar lottery and could invest a great portion of it. Or rather, the half of the multibillion dollars, because the IRS would take at least half of your winnings right off the bat.

Great place. Just a little bit of changes to make it mine.
In the main Master Bath I'd like a huge shower with the tub in it. It would be so much easier to clean around, just hose it down.
That place is ripe for a residential elevator. Also a basement for the services.
I'd like a vaulted ceiling in the single car garage and the different type garage door opener. That would be a great spot for a two post hoist. I like to work on cars, like do my own brakes and minor repairs, getting too old for the big jobs. 😉 I could have had a career in it but didn't want to have to do it every day all day.

I would put a pool and a jacuzzi outside, I would also put a small kitchen sink with countertop next to the barbecue. In Master bathroom, the fact that no one can see while you are bathing because the window has frost is a great idea. I wish they would keep the same color scheme throughout black and white. I was shocked with the upstairs so much space I would do a homeschool area. love this house very nice.
