Thanks for the great information. I have a question: I recently hired a laborer to replace two of the melted polypropylene sediment filters in my filter system. He went to a hardware store and only found the 40" cartridge. Out of laziness, he decided that instead of driving to another store, he would buy the 40" and cut it in two equal pieces, since my filter housings are 20". Now, if those polypropylene filters are cut with a saw, won't that diminish their efficacy, or worse, won't it allow pieces of the fiber through into the water supply?
Hey there making a business about this , is it possible to put sediment filtration to fit inside of normal size water bottle ? this includes sediment filtration and carbon filtration. thank you
Impressing! Is it really limited to sediment filtration even when the filter is at small scale? I do see 0.35 micron sediment filter on the market. If we use a 0.35 micron sediment filter, will it capture the dissolved molecules, i.e., at 0.45 micron scale?
i wrongly bought pp sediment filter for indoor with info of micron. Is it okay for me to use it for my outdoor filteration sysyem. They are 10" type of housing.
You presented this topic so clearly.. thanks
Good info, I just bought a house and never dealt with these till now. My water pressure was getting slower and slower.
Very very good!! Just goes to show good advice is is not affected by time!! 4 years on and this has really helped me! Thanks
Thank you! I have a city well system that is ruining my appliances! I need a water filter that will remove the scale!
Great video. Sure it did increase my knowledge quite a lot

How much load does this put on the pump?
Impressing!

ty for the expanation
if the flow is reversed like water is from inside the filter towards outside surface will it still filter the water?
Great video. Sure it did increase my knowledge quite a lot..
I have both a string filter and a melt blown filter. My system holds two filters, which one should go 1st?

John, your my favorite water guy! Make it make sense to the average Joe… you should run for President!
