      Not true.
The so-called Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) has no authority nor powers to adjudicate territorial matters & it is an administrative body & not a judicial one. It is also not affiliated to the UN nor ICJ & altho it tries to masquerade as if it does by renting office space in the Peace Palace, Netherlands (Hague).
The PRC ignored this hearing which was just a kangaroo court brought about by some US interests (much like the Uyghur genocide tribunal chaired by Geoffery Nice in London).
This self-appointed body sitting in judgment comprised 4 europeans & 1 african - no guesses who paid them.
Furthermore, historical records held in France & UK all recognise that China's claims have merit, which also predate the creation of the Phillies. Look it up rather than being swept along by US/CIA propaganda.
Repeat after me: the PCA is NOT UN affiliated & its remit is over commercial disputes [not matters of territorial sovereignty]. Likewise UNCLOS on issues of use of resources & maritime rights. Ruling states 'neither advances or detracts from either party's claims. UK, France, Germany have openly stated that they take NO POSITION on territorial sovereignty. Also setting aside claims by Malaysia & Vietnam).

PCA never rule against China, this is a greatly misunderstood fact. what philippine ask was if the 9 dash line constitute an EEZ, the court simply said no. China has never claim the 9 dash line as it EEZ so it kinda a strawman ruling. Philippine has never directly challenge the soverighty of those island like Malaysia did with Singapore's lighthouse, because Philippines knows there isn't much of a case for Philippines to win, while Singapore has actual control of the island we claim, Philippine has never control the island it is claiming. so it is far harder to challenge soverighty than it is to play with techicality.

8 Jul, 2024 , A recent Philippine submission to the United Nations over claims to seabed territory has sparked vigorous protests from Malaysia, reviving a long-standing territorial dispute over Sabah in northern Borneo.
The historically complex dispute, which can be traced back to colonial-era agreements, has significant political and economic implications for both nations given the region’s considerable oil and gas resources.
Malaysia submitted a diplomatic note to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Saturday rejecting a filing from the Philippines to the UN.
Manila had registered its entitlement to an extended continental shelf in the Western Palawan region of the South China Sea, defining the seabed areas over which it has sovereign and exclusive rights to exploit for natural resources.
Malaysia said it “categorically” rejected the Philippines’ filing on the basis that the extended continental margin in the submission “was projected from the baselines of the Malaysian state of Sabah”.
“This clearly disregards Malaysia’s indisputable sovereignty over the state of Sabah,” the diplomatic note said.
Malaysia’s protest came just as the country’s foreign minister, Mohamad Hasan, paid a courtesy call on President Ferdinand Marcos Jnr in Malacanang Palace and met his Philippine counterpart, Enrique Manalo, on Monday.

Why don't tell the truth ?
U$ have NO obligation to defend the dispute maritime areas.
Document 578 of American Foreign Policy Basic Documents 1977-1980 is a 1979 letter to then-Philippine Minister of Foreign Affairs Carlos Romulo, in which Vance further clarified the U.S. legal interpretation of the MDT. He declared that armed attack under the MDT refers to external armed aggression against any part of Philippine metropolitan territory as defined by the 1898 Treaty of Paris between Spain and the U.S. and the 1900 Treaty of Washington between Great Britain and the U.S. (amended in 1930), as well as island territories in the Pacific that are under Philippine jurisdiction. Moreover, “armed attack on any Philippine armed forces, public vessels or aircraft in the Pacific would not have to occur within the Philippine metropolitan territory or island territory under its jurisdiction in the Pacific in order to come within the definition of Pacific Area in Article V.” Thus, armed attack on said forces or vessels taking place in undisputed maritime areas in the South China Sea would fall within the scope of the MDT.

Do you even know what the 1900 Treaty of Washington is? You've been spreading misinformation everywhere by nitpicking information and ignoring other context/facts. That treaty literally solidifies that the Spratly Islands is part of the Philippine territory, using that as an argument will only embarrass yourself because even the CCP doesn't want to hear it. US is not obligated to defend Philippines *IF* it seeks to expand its territories; however, PH is merely protecting the Islands/shoals it already owns. This is why US have reiterated that the treaty remains, "ironclad", since it's quite clear that the CCP is the aggressor in this scenario.
But I know just like every CCP drones that are using VPN in international platforms, you will once again ignore facts and hope you can confuse everyone and drown the truth with new misinformation and baseless arguments every year.
