Happened to me as well
5 yrs ago I had a 25ltrs fish bowl. I didn't know till then that fish shouldn't be kept in a bowl. But I set it up for guppies and zebra danios. I didn't use any aquarium plant as such. I had arrow heads, water lattice and money plant at home. I bought some gravel, gathered some rocks from a nearby water stream nd setup the bowl. I didn't have to cycle the water cze i had a direct water connection from a nearby water stream nd there were already fish thriving in it. I attached arrow heads to the rocks. Left water lattice swimming and added some money plants as well so the fish feels like home. I had an aquarium heater as well. I added fish after 2,3 days nd they all did well for like 2 yrs or so. I couldn't save much fish fries cze i wasn't able to know when they used to give birth or release eggs but still some 10-15 guppy fries and 5-8 danios fries were able to survive in the bowl.
One day, I hadda go to my Village for a week or so. I never left my fish on their own but this time I had to. I knew they will survive even if they have to go without food for a week, so I did a water change. Washed my filter with the tank water nd I was ready to leave. Also it was winter season so I had to make sure that the heater is working properly. I did all that nd left. When I returned back, I was shocked to see that the water in the bowl was blackish. I immediately rushed towards it nd saw all my guppies were dead nd already decaying. I realised that there was no light at all in my house for all these days nd the fish were living is the cold water. My water lattice as well died let alone the arrow head and money plant were growing good. I had lost all hopes nd thought all my fish were dead. But then I saw a baby Zebra danio for a second before it wanished in the black water. I immediately emptied the bowl nd to my surprise, all my danios were not only alive but thriving in the black, dirty water. I immediately picked them up in the same water and placed them into a tub and added some more water to it. I set up my bowl again nd after a day or so added my fish to it. Meanwhile I gave them a methylene blue and salt bath. Later on I got an 15 gallons tank for them nd since then, there have been no fatalities. These fish are way more Hardy than we can think of. They can survive extreme conditions nd now I have 30 danios in the bigger 30gallon tank. They multiplied on there own. I gues they ate many of their eggs but that's a part of nature.

Mayur Sir, I bought 12 zebra danios for my first 2 ft aquarium. No other fishes
Bought 100gms of ayu life and neutro plus. The fishes liked it.
Only problem is the food is getting expired in just 2 months.. shop did not have any ayu life with more life.
They have tiny whiskers which look absolutely adorable 😍

need to understand, do we need to put oxygen air pump in tank where we have good canister filter?as i can see many of the vedio there is no small bubbles emitting air pump inside. i wants to learn live aquarium set up from basics to advance.thanks for good learning by mayur ji. Not really necessary of there is a good water flow, Yes this will change with the Quality of the filter and more over the Quality of the biomedia in the filter

I have 6 glow danios and they are constantly chasing each other... Are they aggressive or just playing? It's been one month but all are still doing fine, except this chasing.

Hi leaving zebra danio with guppy is bad idea i had 4 danio 4 guppy, all 4 guppy slowly died , when i noticed all 4 were dead due to fin damage

Hello sir I am from odisha and zebra danio fish easily available in rainy season but I don't know it's name because in the shop we saw the colour zebra fish, thanks for the information For my own interest I caught 5 wild zebras and keep them since 2 years they are so friendly they are happy with my goldfish es but sir I never see to nip goldfish fins and again thanks to know about the name and activities of the wild fishes sir in our district of odisha locally called ( Dandia)

Can i keep guppies and zebras together. I tried but found zebras behaviour with guppies as fin nippers . Currently i have 2 guppies kept in one 2 zebras in one and one male beta . I tried all in one but found guving stress to beta . Can u guide mr mayur

This is a common issue, especially with immature parents, keep them in a seprate tank and keep the water ammonia free also good food is required

mera ek confusen he ki aquriam mere room he jo 2ft ka he or usme top filter or oxygen pump laga he problem ye he ki agar me mosquito colil jalata hu to poison gas pump ke thru pani me gul sakti he ki nahi us se fish ko koi problem hogi ke nahi

Hello. I heard at many places that hang on back filter isn't good for guppy and molly. Specially, if they are breeding. Please comment on this topic as it's controversial and no such proper video is on filter for fish.
This is not true, actually this mainly depends on the tank size and the reason this is discussed is because the filter can suck up the fry, it is best to have a separate breeding tank with a sponge filter
