I believe this is called a "ghost doctor" clinic. They use a "Korean" doctor to draw in patients (bc they're popular and sought after in China), but the actual surgeon isn't who is advertised. They're usually not actual plastic surgeons either. Dark Asia with Megan has a video about this.
Someone in the comments of a different video I saw about this speculated that they've all travelled for the surgeries and so he can't post further updates because they're the other side of the country/in a different country by that point. I think that makes a lot of sense.
I really hate when the doctors keep telling all your imperfections, like I went to clinic because I wanted a facial for my acne and they keep telling me how I need fillers and some other things, like I know I am not super pretty but I didn't came for that just for a facial not to get my whole face "fix".
I have the opposite happen. I’ve been to a few consultations for a rhinoplasty. The surgeons don’t want to do the procedure. They tell me I’m very handsome. Two of the surgeons just ended up chatting with me for an hour. I thought they would want to make money and tell me I need this and that to try to sell me procedures. I was wondering whether they were using some sort of reverse psychology on me. You know, butter me up so I would demand work done on my nose so they would know I was serious. I still want my nose done. Maybe I have body dysmorphia? I definitely have low self esteem. I did go to one consultation where the surgeon said I really needed silicone cheek implants. He was operating from a house too. Sketchy. I spent so much money on all those consultations. $100 each. 😫 I basically paid people to pay me compliments lol 😆
This happened to a friend of mine who went to a laser clinic for a minor cosmetic procedure, and the technician started telling her all her "flaws" that could be "fixed". I had that happen at a dentist, the dentist told me that I should consider veneers because my teeth are crooked and "small". I've never had a problem with how they look, and nobody had ever said such a thing until that incident. My teeth are fine. I was so outraged lol.

Thanks for saying how it's not "final" results as half the world seems to think a person with yellow-stained neck and lines for the surgeon still visible is the final result. Matt's photo especially gone around so much, so much hate for this man that just saved up and went through all the pain to feel better about his look. The problem with videos from tiktok China is they use filters and SFX makeup everywhere, they could be using it on both the before and the after to make it more dramatic. So we'll never know what it's really about. 10:25 look at the earrings, clearly a filter on the before.

Book I read in 7th grade: Bogus to Bubbly: An Insider's Guide to the World of Uglies. People in the comments talking about a movie where people all have plastic surgery, and if you don't you're ostracized, other comments saying it's like rebelling not to get plastic surgery. Because of that and the video obviously, this book is what I think of. The protagonist is a girl who doesn't want to be a "pretty" and fights against the system basically. (I don't want to give anymore away that I can remember about it who might be interested in reading it.) By a certain age you are required to become a "pretty" and before that everyone is an "ugly". If your parents look like you that is unheard of basically. And the pretties stay in another area and have "better lives" than the "uglies." Some (obviously) shady stuff goes on in the book about what's behind all this but I really don't remember it well, or if it would still be a good read. I'm not into stories with this vibe or context even if I watched this video. 😅 But it's just one of those things that comes to mind in my life whenever this topic comes up in a way that shows everyone is doing it and filters and all the beauty craziness. Also in the story there's hoverboards. 😱 Lol. This story is set in the future of course, but i don't remember how far. At the age I read it I think I was 13. I'm 25½ now. But at that age this book was really trippy when I just won't forget about it. I just had to share this somewhere because I'm surprised no-one seems to know about it or mention it when it's very easy to relate everything discussed here and elsewhere on this topic to this book. Stay an ugly you guys! Just take good care of your self as best you can. God bless!
Oh, my gosh. That poor woman at the 2:20-ish mark...she was so cute before. She looked in shock--the shaking--after and...I mean...couldn't there be a risk of disassociation or depression, etc. with such a difference???
Some of these just literally needed just a lift. This doctor is literally making them into new characters. I am terrified and also sad for these patients.
The results are going to turn out bad, but these afters aren't fully healed yet. There is still alot of swelling, bruising and stitches which looks uncanny too. I'm curious to how weird it looks once its fully healed.
Last week I saw a woman who had this (I guess she had an operation in Turkey or so?! Idk) but even tho you couldn't see any scars it looked so uncanny. 😭😭😭
I feel like it’s easy for us young people to criticize this, but just wait for us GenZ to age, I predict that many of us might do this… especially if plastic surgery becomes more advanced and accepted.
it’s not that we’re shaming the act of plastic surgery, it’s the results. It looks botched and likely unsafe. Had the results been great and the accounts been less shady there wouldn’t be discourse
When the first tiktok popped up, i was MORTIFIED, the woman is literally shaking. This is not what humans are supposed to look like, and people have forgotten what it means to be old. being old is not a curse, it simply means everything has come to an end. people have different views on life and how the afterlife is, but do people really want to spend their last thoughts on how they could have "looked even more young" before their final moments in life. Humans don't live forever, why are we trying to extend our exterior beauty when its not going to last more than 100 years?
When you played the video in slow motion, you can see their mouth moving a little wonky. There’s definitely filters being used at least in the after videos
It’s the fact that they do the harsh facelift incisions right around the hairline… a good surgeon NEVER does that. The incisions must always be hidden within the scalp, and as small as possible. Also, what’s that level of tension… This is literally a back alley surgeon and his patients are SO lucky to be alive 💀
where i'm from plastic surgery and even just heavy makeup is just not something people do, people will think you're insecure (=weak). i think if i told my mother that i considered plastic surgery she would be embarrassed on my behalf and tell me i'm being ridiculous & should get my shit together haha
I wonder whether some Koreans actually prefer this look. That's why he has a marketing strategy to show the most extreme part of the process and chain it's the final result. Tbf, although they look spooky, if I had those wrinkles and jowls, I would be very happy with those results as I'm open about having work done (no surgery yet) especially as the final result would be more natural. Maybe all facelifts look like that in the beginning.
I think some people, including myself, like a fake, alien or fantasy look. I don't have any wish to have my permanent makeup or fillers look natural and want elf ear surgery/ear pointing to give myself pointed elf ear modification. Perhaps Korean culture is less conservative than the West and more open to unconventional or rebellious forms of beauty. It reminds me a bit of The Black Alien Project and animal imitators (probably they're Therians). They get extreme plastic surgery to achieve unnatural beauty. Some Superman and Plastic Barbie people do this too.

Korean here, no we don't. There are less invasive facelifts here that you can do that have a more natural end result. But yeah there are so many steps in between before getting a facelift. I used to work in a clinic for a part-time job and I can tell you that facelifts were very rare and the end results (even after the surgery) looked less spooky :) I think that the surgeon is Chinese and they use "Mr Kim" as a way to look more trustworthy since plastic surgery is big in Korea. In general, surgeons here post before and after pictures weeks or months after, not the uncanny valley-ish day after picture

No, plastic surgeons in the west do not tell you all your imperfections during the consultations. At least not the respectable ones. Their job is to listen to you and to address your concerns, not to introduce new concerns, if you don't have them yet. In fact I know people who were very annoyed that the consultation did not help them decide on what procedure to get at all. They went to the surgeon and said, "how can I look prettier" not "my nose is too big for my face", if you see the distinction.
Oh, no! I'm guessing the clients of this plastic surgeon know kind of what they´re in for -- they probably chose him because of his radical methods -- but I still feel bad for them. It's as though the eyes and the face don't quite go together. However, they may see something we don't see. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, we tend see a combination of the faces we've had at different ages. Maybe these ladies do see a younger version of themselves following the procedure and not the oddness we see. I hope they are all able to smile, talk and eat normally.

changing your mindset towards agiing population and embracing their wisedom and knowledge and making them feel that their opinions and existence still matter in this world is a long a term positive change that wll deter people from getting plastic surgery...after all we gonna age one day tooo and would be in their place...so why not start this change...aging is a beautiful process and also facial aging doesnt matter as long as u have healthy body..we must enourage older population to focus more on physical health ...
Reminder that some people were born unhealthy and some will never be healthy and we need to stop trying to fix things that aren't broken, actually
7:51 how is she gonna open her mouth to eat?!?! 😭😭😭
Tbh. That's the only that looks really good. But she was also very beautiful before the surgery so that definitely helps.
Is he deleting comments talking about the sponsor? There's no way no one is commenting about it... or are people just quiet about it?
i was gonna say the same thing. he might be blocking the sponsors name from his comments
@@combatdolllhe actually is. I tested it a couple of days ago and now the comment is gone.
Wow, just great.
@@shining_valoka that’s actually embarrassing. i know another creator who was sponsored by bh recently and their comments were flooded with people saying what a scam it was. at least they didn’t block those comments.
ikr I love him but like there's no way he didn't know about how it's bad. Bh makes me so angry sponsoring a bunch of my fav youtubers😭
I'm late, is it a ripoff?@artificiallyill2123
I am 61 and love my face. It shows my journey. Why would want to erase that?
Yeah. Those tik toks freaked me out before bed. I stayed up late and went down a rabbithole. I was in denial that this had to be fake. So sad
I feel so bad for some people's before and after going around because of this, especially like in super early days after surgery 🙁 I would be so sad if that was me. Thanks for saying how it's not "final" results as half the world seems to think a person with yellow-stained neck and lines for the surgeon still visible is the final result. Matt's photo especially gone around so much, so much hate for this man that just saved up and went through all the pain to feel better about his look. Surgeons take photos always, not sure these people signed to be everywhere 😣 and all the pick-mes are out in force against random humans that did nothing to them...
Oh my god if I saw that last man in public and he made eye contact with me, I’d probably scream or at least gasp uncontrollably. That’s one of those trippy not-so-human faces you see in horror movies before something goes terribly wrong
This makes me want to cry for some reason 😢😭
Lmao, imagine that face tape unsticking and your shit just snaps back into place 😂😂😂
these people deserve the biggest refund or at least a free survey from someone who actually knows what they’re doing
Oh man... This is rough. They can't move their eyelids.
"romeo, romeo, why did i get a phone call from a face-lift surgeon?"
The problem with videos from tiktok China is they use filters and SFX makeup everywhere, they could be using it on both the before and the after to make it more dramatic. So we'll never know what it's really about. 10:25 look at the earrings, clearly a filter on the before.
The after looks like post mortem pictures and videos....really strange. It is that they're blinking... with some difficulty I might add
sorry to these people but it's giving ✨moisturise me, moisturise me ✨
Yeah. "Bitchy Trampoline" had to be the inspiration.
not the Doctor Who reference 😭😭😭
Bitchy trampoline.
I had to stop eating while watching this video, those surgeries are beyond botched omg
Seeing this after Not Even Emily's video is making me more and more terrified about plastic surgery ;-;
Ed i love you but i could not get halfway through this video entirely because the results are pure nightmare fuel… im sure this is a great video but its late and i dont want to have nightmares tonight
😂😂😂Edvasian dropping a creepy contact request in that accent provided the levity I needed to get thru this video 😁
That said, if these filters are the basis of attraction for IRL attraction I would love a deep dive on that from my favorite Canadian TH-camr
i had my wisdom teeth removed from my jaw bone 2 weeks ago. lemme tell ya. first week i looked like bruised lord farquaad 💀so that was funny to look at. i'm 2 weeks post-op and i can still feel the swelling on my jaw but look normal thankfully. if anybody took an after photo like 4 days after op it would have been horror material. i damn hope they're just swollen, especially given it's the skin that was pulled (i had insane swelling inside of my mouth to the point i couldn't swallow even water). hope that's the case with them too 💀cuz bruh💀
I had my wisdom teeth pulled out 2 weeks ago too! 😮
Interesting I had it done too and I was hardly swollen and another day I looked normal, only felt swollen gum. Strange how everyone can have different reactions to same operation
I don’t know if the before and after are the same people….there should be a lot of bruising and swelling for weeks afterwards… I’m pretty sure the after photos are just younger women with fake stitching applied to their hairlines
"You've been doctor Kim'd! And you've been doctor Kim'd!" 😂
Why the hell is this doctor giving everyone the same face!? So incredibly weird.
Book I read in 7th grade:
Bogus to Bubbly: An Insider's Guide to the World of Uglies.
God bless!
Imagine the face looking 13 and the body and hands looking 60 😮 very strange times we live in
Oh, my gosh. That poor woman at the 2:20-ish mark...she was so cute before. She looked in shock--the shaking--after and...I mean...couldn't there be a risk of disassociation or depression, etc. with such a difference???
Ed may not be pregnant but he always delivers 🔥🔥
I'm sorry but the older gentleman who got the surgery looks like a cursed Simon Cowell muppet x.x
1:08 Those are not ISSUES, that's how skin works. It's seriously disturbing aging in this society.
Oooo man, that's why research is so important. It's honestly terrifying. I wish people took plastic surgery more seriously.
Watching this at 4AM cus why not
Some of these just literally needed just a lift. This doctor is literally making them into new characters. I am terrified and also sad for these patients.
I don't see any mention of this patients looking like teletubies, but I swear they all end up looking like weird teletubies and it's sad
The results are going to turn out bad, but these afters aren't fully healed yet. There is still alot of swelling, bruising and stitches which looks uncanny too. I'm curious to how weird it looks once its fully healed.
10:00 she was so beautiful, of course nobody should judge anyone specially for looks but can't look away from that situation. This is so sad 😢
People have been looking for immortality pill and staying forever young. Honestly, this is tiring. Why can’t we let nature do its thing?
People profiting off of making you feel insecure should never become accepted and normalized
The tone, rhythm and accent really reminds me of Tony Zhou. I miss Every Frame a Painting so much, I find this voice so soothing.
I just want to say, that your hair is totally on point in this video. Best it’s ever looked! 😮
Your thumbnail scared me and now I’m too afraid to go back to the bathroom and put on my tretinoin.
I’m just gonna get old and see what happens. I’ll be a novelty.
With a tight enough face lift, everyone looks Asian.
At the 7:00 mark you can literally see the filter glitching 😂
11:26 why did she blink with only 1 eye 😭
Damage, another video on these people said it was a pre-existing condition. I'm guessing nerve damage.
It's like if Ed Gein was an Asian plastic surgeon....😮
The deception is SO deep. Is this The Orphan being deliberately played out irl...just imagine the consequental ripple effect. It's practically Unholy.
No way my two fav youtubers know eachother tuv and Edvasian nice nice
i dont ever put on notifications for youtube, so the fact that i got here 1 minute after posting is wild to me
8:57 The lady's lips are twitching from the filter.
I definitely think some kinda filter is being used because even the texture of the skin has changed…
They are not the same people, you can see filteren ears.
where i'm from plastic surgery and even just heavy makeup is just not something people do, people will think you're insecure (=weak). i think if i told my mother that i considered plastic surgery she would be embarrassed on my behalf and tell me i'm being ridiculous & should get my shit together haha

I used to work in a clinic for a part-time job and I can tell you that facelifts were very rare and the end results (even after the surgery) looked less spooky :)
I think that the surgeon is Chinese and they use "Mr Kim" as a way to look more trustworthy since plastic surgery is big in Korea. In general, surgeons here post before and after pictures weeks or months after, not the uncanny valley-ish day after picture
I think i need to see a collab between you and Dr Youn reacting to these surgeries XD
That dude from Spain looked like a Muppet in his after pic ngl
I’ll probably have nightmares because of this video, but hey, at least those folks don’t have to keep going back for retouches. They faces are secured for eternity 😂
Omg I love plants vs zombies sound effect 😂😂😂
Man... the end results make me so uncomfortable since it looks so umcomfy....
The way the algorithm showed me this IMMEDIATELY as I got on XD
Just think about it, the post-surgery that get published online are the ones the Dr Kim deemed the best results that would represent his work best.....
It's like the surgeon is only attracted to this one very specific type of face and he's forcing it on as many women as possible
Man if this year ends and you haven't done a collab with rebal d amma cry . Y'all are like the perfect bff s made for eachother
that first woman is shaking Looks so painful and the healed photos cant be found...(?)
just wanted to say that your vids are great to listen to while I do my animation homework, keep up the great work :)
this is so scary
what a traumatizing 15 min, why did I choose to eat 😂
To directly answer your question: Cats & Soup is a great mobile game that has a fun free version where you can build little towns of cats making soup and food and taking various kinds of breaks like busking and going to kitty sauna. It could be good mind bleach after writing or watching this.
I’d like to see the 30 day and 1 year photos, there’s so much swelling and tightness in the after photos
Now iam really getting scared and concerned all of these cosmetic procedures
I feel so sorry for that old grandma. Poor poor grandma. I hope she isn’t having complications.
Self-induced Uncanny Valley.
Not even just the robots.
they look uncanny. similar to the art installation that the figure “momo” came from
14:14 This man is what makes me really angry. Dr. Kim clearly focuses his surgeries on Asian females, so he's not as skilled at doing non-Asian male faces, and he knows that and should not have accepted this man as his client.
