  • In this video I am explaining what to do if your airbag BLEW UP, or if it simply started to leak on your PTI inspection.
Capping airbags is straight forward job, I am sure that by following those instructions you will do it yourself, it almost do not require tools.
Begin by finding which airbag is leaking. Locate one or two hoses (depending on airbag position) on top of the airbag. Unscrew nuts on the hoses using wisegrips/pliers/wrench. After you did it, make sure you start your truck, release TRAILER emergency brakes, run your truck several minutes to build up air pressure on trailer. Check if all airbags pumped up, and if you have no air leaks.
Your air pressure gauge should show more than 100psi to make sure it is safe to drive to service.
