I'm actually a fan of scarlet witch buffing magneto as much as she does. I think the team ups are a major thing that differentiate this from other hero shooters. Whenever I see someone playing scarlet witch it makes me excited to choose Magneto. I'll swap to him if I have Venom selected and no one else is on Magneto. I think that's part of what makes this game unique. I also think you're wrong about storm and iron man. They don't need a Pharah bar, this isn't overwatch. They have no applicable limits on flight time in lore/universe unless you somehow break iron man's arc reactor, but then he'd have bigger issues.
Adamn Warlock could also flick his wrist and kill everyone there, but he doesn't do that. It's just balance. Team up mechanics are fun in theory, but like Overwatch it should compliment the characters not decide whether you use them or not

Hulk’s E should be a charge a la Mauga or Rein so he can close distances. I get with the shields charging ult that they’re trying to incentivize building ult as his main gameplay loop which is similar to the anger meter idea but way worse in practice. I also think they should change his passive so that if his team is full of people Hulk hates (like Strange and Iron Man, they fight like every time the see each other) he gets a damage increase. They need to really lean into the fact that Hulk is fueled by anger and the more punishment he receives in the comics the angrier he gets. Maybe CC abilities build his anger cause he doesn’t like being constrained. Like I said they need to really consider what anger means for the Hulk
One thing I noticed about Strange is his E seems to charge faster and easier. I found I barely ever got charge on it during the Alpha even if I was landing shots, it would just start draining before I could build up enough.
@@soulxcloud2389 He definitely has more range, but I'm talking about the Burst he has on his E, I felt like I could never fill the meter even if I was doing consistent damage, during the alpha. In certain parts of the map, flyers are going to beat you if you play a melee character like Magik. Granted, I do think Magik should have more versatility with their stepping disc, especially verticality. Moreso, positioning makes a huge difference. The maps are designed with these flyers in mid, so even Spider-Man can take one out with ease if there's good positioning.
the funny thing about the backpedal change you propose is that kinda reminds me of Gigantic. in there backpedaling is slow and sprinting uses meter when you're in combat. between that and the jank movement tech Melee heroes have access to, Melee characters thrive alongside their ranged counterparts.
Way easier to just balance them and make them good. In OW I can counter pharah with even brig when she lands, Iron man can never be hit by certain characters

You not wanting to switch characters should not be the measuring stick of how the game is designed. Also, it's weird that you are comparing it to OverWatch while making this critique. I would understand if you were making the argument that you shouldn't be able to switch characters. Therefore, every character should be balanced in a way where every other character has a legitimate chance of taking them out. But every comment I see you're comparing it to OverWatch which has the exact opposite design philosophy where certain characters have distinct advantages and are very difficult to take out by other characters and encourages you to switch.
When it comes to venom, you can quick melee during his primary fire.
