Well the GT3RS has upgrades....the GTD has upgrades over 2020 GT500....which actually matched the laptime of a 2019 GT3RS on a timed comparison lap. Let's see what happens!

My concern with the GTD is still weight. I still haven't heard official weight accept that it's still GT500 territory minus a bit. Not sure unless someone else knows. Either way I love the GTD....even if it doesn't match or exceed a GT3RS Ring lap time. I know the GTD will walk away from a GT3RS on tracks that reward long legs. I guess we'll all know soon enough.

Try reading up on the GTD's state of the art suspension, as it is the only production car on the planet that has semi-active suspension at all 4 corners, pushrod activated inboard mounted at the rear and adaptive spool dampers. It also has active aero dampers front and rear. The ONLY advantage the Vette has is more HP, but let's wait and see if that is enough for it to overcome the superior GTD suspension on a road course!
