Now I know what to do with all the pattern tissue I have. Most of it is vintage that I've picked up at garage sales, from the 50's, 60's and 70's. All of these were so yummy! Have a blessed weekend.
I really love all of these ideas. And they came for me at a really good time I just picked up a whole bunch of old old patterns because I wanted the envelopes period and now they're just sitting on my work table all those patterns now I know what to do with them. Thank you a bunch

Love these ideas and I have a huge box of patterns that I rescued from the landfill as my sister-in-laws mother was a seamstress and they were cleaning out her house 😮👍🏻
Hi Gayle! Well I have been sewing for over 48 years and I just love sewing patterns, wish I still have the book cover I make out of sewing patter paper for school. Lol! All the other kids were coving their books with paper bags I was coving mine with sewing patterns, used to have a photo but not sure where it is now. Wow that makes me feel old! Love how everything came out and your Ronda paper turned out good, sounds good. Hope your weekend is going good, take care!
Great ideas, Gayle! I will definitely be making some collage pages to use up my patterns. I often use them to just stamp Tim Holtz field notes stamps or labels onto. Makes nice little embellishments, but doesn't greatly reduce the pattern scraps. Thanks! ETA: You could also hinge the top of the coffee dyed paper onto the Victorian Flower Garden pages so the flowers can still be viewed.

Wonderful more modern look to your pages. My favourite was the collage sewing pattern. It had a look of formulas, instructions abd like someone else said, "blue prints". I was a bit disappointed with the coffee dyed papers covering the droopy flowers but over all your work was a awesome and beautiful as always, just adifferent use of materials.
This tri fold journaling care is very pretty. I have so many old patterns that I could use to make some of these. I love all of these ideas. They are marvelous!!! Dont be so quick to judge your own work. We are so quick to self judge thinking others do better work than ours. We all do it, but I think yours are great !! I just had a thought. What if you mix PVA glue with coffee or tea in place of the water instead of the decopaudge here ?? It would enhance the color
Hi Gayle!! Some great projects using sewing pattern paper!! I was just thinking that you could take some of the blank paper and fold then over each other 3 or 4 times and taking your pinking scissors and cutting squares or rectangles or long skinny strips and collaging with those!! Really cool ideas, especially if thinking about a sewing journal. The one that looked leathery seemed to be asking to become a pockets page where you flip up the bottom. It talked to me...lol I ordered my grateful pouch this week, I can hardly wait. Now E has some too. So I think I'll add hers to my collection as well. Goodness knows I have stuff to fill them all! I'm going to use my labeler to tell me what's inside.

If you want to use plain copy paper, or cover the blank side of digitals, the pattern paper would add visual and tactile interest. Or you could use it instead of napkins to make fabric paper - great cover for a sewing journal! How about putting it on one side of very fragile book pages - either to use as a journal page or to make pockets. So many interesting possibilities. 😁

Great idea for the pattern paper, I’ve got tons of it! Ronda used deli paper. I had to order it so I could do some pages😊.
I also use tracing papers Patricia...since I made the video several months ago, I've had a difficult time finding good deli paper I like...hugs!
