    :- ) O, Gayle...I just had a vision:
I keep all the multitudes of people who've lost so much through storms, earthquakes, fires, tsunamis, in my prayers. Decades back I looked up the FEMA website. Tragedies covered by that agency rolled on and on like a bad case of diarrhea. Today, it'd be so much more.
Anyway, all the women who've lost their kitchens, craft rooms; (children who've lost their toys, school materials; men who've lost their offices, documents...) Watching you ladies, if they've computer access, must be a very poignant time for them. Happy, fulfilling, joyful, gratifying, crafting vicariously--yet, heartbreaking, too.
You ladies cover a much needed loss in so many lives the world over. Just keep doing what you do.

This is exactly what I want to do. I've always used food box and TV dinner packaging. I took a couple years off, moved to Mexico for a year, decided I didn't like it so I'm starting over at my new residence here in New Mexico, which I absolutely love. So I'm buying everything new as I can but I have a really great craft area and a slightly larger house now too. It's an adventure for sure. I've been binge watching your videos. They are very informative not to mention entertaining. You will no doubt be hearing more from me. I'm a big fan. Toodles for now.

I love this cover, the slow stitched piece is awesome! One thing you might try is before you sew in the signature, put the pages under several heavy books. Catherine at Sunnyside Journals and Nancy at Wishes and Weeds both use a book press. I don’t have a press so I just stack books on mine overnight and it’s amazing how much it presses down the pages.

Loved this tutorial! I've been wanting to make more fabric covers and seeing this is so doable. This will be a gorgeous journal. And in reference to your fabric/lace page...I think it needs to be a cover! You could place large journal cards in pockets to supply stability and a color theme. That little trim on the spine made me feel it as a cover. Great video as always!!

Don't know if you ladies, you DIY creators, know what a beautiful service you provide for your viewers, their mental/emotional wellbeing. You, Pam (Paper Outpost), "Artie"(ArtieMaze - I first heard about her from you), Eve (Scrapbooking with Me), Pink Poodle (the first DIY video I'd ever watched)…the list goes on and on and I've enjoyed them all.
After hours of watching Doug Hagmann, Health Ranger, Rudy's Common Sense, Glenn Beck, Jack Hibbs...all that heavy, man-stuff...the list goes on and on and I've gleaned great insight from them...after watching them, I greatly need to settle back with my cup 'o' coffee and watch you gals work.
Would you, please, let the other ladies know what I say--every poopie one of 'em--when you have your sit-down, create sessions...they all know you.

Just catching up on your videos. I saved a couple envelopes. I haven't used a sewing machine since I was a teenager, but you've given me the inspiration to give it a try.... if I fail I will get my sister to sew for me - she is a fantastic sewer but lives 2 hours away from me so not convenient to just have her "pop over" to give me a hand. (She let me borrow her old sewing machine...so we'll see how it goes. Thank you for the great tutorial!!!
