Really enjoyed watching you craft and the chat 👍, When I was 8 my darling Dad and I would go into the garden for a spot of sun , mum would call us for breakfast , lunch then dinner we were still sitting / laying in it while chatting about the world HE lived in growing up. After dinner we would rush back out to sit in the corner of the garden with our heads stretch out getting those last rays. I agree how dangerous but we never really knew 🤷♀️ miss those chat 💋 Lovely book ❤️👍xx
A trick I learned to put items back in their packages that have the sticky flaps is to stick the sticky flap face down on the corner of the table and bend the package back over the table. Then you can slide the item into the package without it catching on the sticky flap. Works for me.

Good Evening Gayle! Yay a altered book. I used Tim Holtz Old Paper distress oxide and vintage photo on the edges of my altered book. The two of them together is nice. Old paper first and then lightly with vintage photo. Beautiful choice of papers too. 👍🍁🍁🍁

I like altered books too. I bought the book with the lady on the front to make it like the one you made a while back and I love the book cover so much. Mine turned out alligator mouth because I couldn’t stop embellishing, adding pockets & tags etc. that’s the only draw back for altered books 😆

This is going to be an EXQUISITE Christmas journal. I had to restart this three times I wanted to make sure we didn't miss the high and hugs and we kept getting interruptions. Yep I'm a "baby oil generation" too & have spent my time at the dermatologist over the passed several years!! No fun. I have had several skin cancer surgeries but survived long cancer. Hope your trip goes well. Your book looks good. I have two funerals, one today & my son-in-law's Saturday. Sad week. Praying your daughter's surgery goes well. Hugs
I started an altered book .... i just ripped out random pages then went and cut a few shorter than others, added pockets and bellybands then started decorating i didnt count out so its prob gonna look like crap hahaha we shall see ... i do see why you count now so you can cover the ripped middle bit ... good to know 😁🤣 xxx
