My first test with 12v Brushless 3" Mini Angle Grinder I ordered from AliExpress. I am not amused..

It cost less than £10.
When I bought this it cost about 36euros and it was cheapest with two batteries.

This tool is made for delicately cutting small materials, in model making for example. It's not meant to be used like a big brute!
Works about as well as you'd expect it to. This isn't a worker's tool, it's a thief's tool lol. Padlock cutter

You might be better off with a larger more powerful grinder instead of trying your best to burn that one out by pushing hard on it.
I use one for 5 yrs and it works fine. But then I'm clever enough to know what to use it for.

It's okay for one job buys like cutting tiles
I prefer to have a lighter unit as the weight of these machines is off putting and very dangerous once it begins to rotate .
However some jobs just require being cordless .I think it's perfect for cutting pipes , small bits and tiles
Probably some thermal cut-off circuit in the battery pack.
I think the problem are the batteries not the grinder itself?
Honestly I agree with you. With a better 18650 cells this would be neat little gadget I think.

@@sellyoursoul90 I have the Milwaukee M12 Fuel version of this, with the 3 cell pack, it is pretty weak, with the 6 cell pack it is a LOT more powerful.

This is not a professional 20v tool so why expect it to do this type of work... I thought it did a job way over its expectations. A steadier hand and a bit lighter application would not have caused battery to heat up. The batteries were usable again after a minute. People here commenting on a junk item when it is not designed for heavy. I have one and can cut similar metals but with a thin disc you really need to keep the cutting angle consistent a a bit lighter.

I was looking for something to cut a couple padlocks on a property where I have no electricity. Lost keys I am a lady and I wouldn't even have the patience for this.....
Just bought one on ebay. The battery takes 3 hours to charge but less than 5 minutes to discharge. Total crap.

this is a common scam; many advertised as brushless... However you don't need to open it up. I bought a mini grinder advertised as brushless but having got it I could see the brushes sparking on start up (at the rear of the grinder looking through the vent slots).. returned it.

Yea its rubbish, I bought too the big one for 18v for Miteka battery grinder and even it didn't cut a small piese of timber and two batteries finished now thinking to return that.

It is said that you are supposed to cut downward when using an angle grinder and let the weight of the tool do most of the cutting and the work for you... not cutting straight forward ahead into it putting too much pressure on the disk 🤷🏼♂️

@@novavolks9652 no bro no es recomendable, la verdad he buscado baterías para esa pulidora y ninguna la soporto, ahí tocaría ensamblar una propia batería con baterías quizá de una marca reconocida que va a salir más costosa pero sería la única opción

@@novavolks9652 bueno, pues te cuento, intenté hacer lo mismo pero requiere una fuente de alto amperaje unos 15 amperios por lo menos, ya que en el momento que arranca consume un pico bastante alto de amperaje y 2do, algo que no me gustó mucho es que la placa de circuito que trae la pulidora tiene un sistema de protección que al detectar cierto consumo ella se detiene, es decir si esfuerzas la máquina por ejemplo cortando una varilla de metal y le haces algo de presión, está se detiene porque aumenta el consumo, entonces la única solución que encontré fue comprar una batería de una pulidora Makita, a esta le saque las celdas 18650 que son de alta capacidad de descarga, unos 15 amperios comparado con las que trae de fabrica que será de 5 más o menos y con éso ya la máquina se comporta mucho mejor y me ha servido para los trabajos del hogar. Saludos!

Luulen vähän että akun sisällä olevat 18650 kennot vaihtamalla parempiin alkaa saamaan jo paremmin tästä hyötyä irti.
Itse ajattelin valjastaa tämän 10mm kapealle hiomanauhalle. Roloc-laikoille voi olla myös aika näppärä!

will not fit but can 3d print an adapter. I am modeling a few for mine and will share the files on thingiverse when then are done.
We use 4 of these in our workshop, never had any problem like this video, seems fake evaluation mate!!!
I only wish.. I still have on my "to do"-list to have the battery cells of this tool changed to a better ones..
