From George Nemitz of Green Bay, Wisconsin, I'll tell you one thing, these memories will never pass away until you pass away yourself. Have a good day, and have a good time watching the Milwaukee Brewers kick ass against the Cleveland Guardians.
A very underrated World Series with two evenly matched teams. I liked the Cardinals chances of repeating in 1983 that is until early in that season when they traded Keith Hernandez to the Mets. I loved following MLB back in the early 80’s.
1982 Jack Buck--"A Swing and a miss that's a Winner that's a winner a World Series Winner for the Cardinals" 24 years later 2006 Joe Buck--"For the first time since 1982 St Louis has a World Series Winner"
I wish MLB would upload to TH-cam the 1982 Cardinals highlight film: A Season to Celebrate. Thumbs up if you out there thinks so. I might have to get a petition started.
The good old days. Speed against Power. The man that stole the show was Willie Mcgee the rookie. Milwaukee wasn't worried about him. That was a big mistake.
Rest in Peace, Bruce Sutter. Thank you for everything!
A while back I watched the entire game on TH-cam. What a magical night that was. Go Cards!
nbc -mlb I miss it
Me too Scott. I actually never saw it live though I was 22, I was unable to see it.
This is so cool that for posting this

I know I’m a brewers fan but this was a good game for cardinal fans but sad for milwaukee fans like me but still, a good game

I’ve always found it interesting that both teams would end up in the same division
It was 40 years ago that the cardinals won the 1982 world series that was excellent. 😀👍⚾️
Time flies by. I was there for game #6, and also for the victory parade.

One of the best games ever played
good edits
Please settle the strike. Pitchers and catchers are supposed to report Feb. 16th.
It's a lockout. The owners can settle it any time they feel like it.
So sad that MVP Darrell Porter would be found dead in a Missouri park only about 20 years later. Drugs are a bad thing.
Keith Hernandez 4 years later same exact clutch hit with the mets
Nice!
R.I.P., Joe Garagiola Sr. and Dick Enberg!!!

How many baseballs did the team sign that year? Like. The whole team
My team
go cards
4:34 Hernandez didn't swing?? 🙄
Why didn't they show Puckett's game winning home run?
Because this was the 1982 World Series.
Sadly, I think this will be the closest the Brewers will ever have to winning a WS :(
Every player on the Brewers look the same when on defense lmao
